A much better kit than the one I bought 5+ years ago.
I needed to replace a budget priced kit that didn't work well. It had air leaks around the hose connections to the bleed nipples, and in the syringes too. This kit looks much better designed and capable. Yeah, you can bleed your own brakes, but if it doesn't go well, PLEASE step up and take your bike to a bike shop and have them do it for you. I sometimes take my projects in to the bike shop for their once over. Having no brakes is NOT a great feeling.

Spend the money and get this better product
There are so many cheap bleed kits. I’ve bought a few. None of them are easily reusable. This is a great tool for home maintenance, and considering how much a shop charges to bleed on brake (at least $30 in my area), this kit will pay itself off after just one season.

Worked on my Tektros
Used for my Tektro brakes after several attempts with a budget kit from Amazon didn't work. Don't get me wrong, this was still a very time consuming process and I had to do both front and rear brakes several times to finally get the air out of the lines. Kit had everything I needed, and I will undoubtedly get better with using it with more practice. So happy I was able to get my brakes in tip top shape again as a couple weeks later they were put to the test with a van jumping the curb and pinning my front tire. Walked away with a bent rim, but uninjured. Buy quality, it's worth it.

Way to expensive
This kit will get the job done - at a price. I think $60 would still be three times the cost.

Expensive but nice
Purchased because my son’s new bike had SRAM mineral oil brakes that require a less common fitting. I have two other generic cheap bleedingsystems. They do the trick but the fittings aren’t as nice and didn’t have the SRAM mineral oil special fittings. This kit is 5-10x the price my other kits but a couple of bleeds at a shop would pay for it if you haven’t the right fittings. The SRAM branded kits were also expensive without the addition flexibility of other brand adapters so that is how I rationalized myself into this purchase. Not disappointed.

Not worth the cost...
Nice to get everything, in a single kit, without having to search for it. Now the bad, this kit cost, at most, $10 to build, for the price you pay I would expect higher quality. The bleed funnel broke during the first use when I dropped it about 3 feet.

Good, but NOT for Maven’s
Bought this kit as a potential same-day solution for bleeding my SRAM Maven rear brake on a new bike. The threaded portion on the lever worked but there is no push-fit fitting for the caliper.Ended up hanging the bike, by the rear tire, on a hook and pushing a full syringe of oil through the lever up to the caliper (messy business with the caliper port hanging up in the air). Re-installed the caliper with not a lot of hope that it had worked, but the rear brake functioned at about 80% efficiency in the end, having been at least partially bled.Otherwise, great kit. I’ll be able to use it on my Shimano’s on the other bike I have when I need to as well.

Can’t go wrong with park tool! Best of the best. Quality products make it easy to bleed brakes. This was my first time learning to bleed my promax brakes and having the variety of hoses and adapters to choose from helped me get the job done right. Super fast shipping too. Exceeded delivery date by 3 days!
