Scar Away Silicone Scar Sheets 1.5x3'' (8)

I have an old bumpy hernia scar and and did not want the same to happen for my recent surgery so bought these. Used them after 2 weeks once part healed and they have made the scars so flat it's amazing. Not fully healed yet but i can already see they are going to be far better than that old scar. They stick great where there is less movement or rubbing but where there is friction i bought tegaderm to put over the top (not cheap but very effective, and had massive advantage of covering my skin which was very senstive from the nerve damage ! )

Seems OK.. But I am not sure they are as good as the other reviews..

I ordered these after reading they were good for nose bumps. By nose bumps, I mean the bump that can occur after nose piercing (keloid) if it's knocked and scarred. You can cut them down to any size very easily (You get quite a lot in the pack - brilliant when you also think they are washable and reusable for a number of weeks) and I applied a small strip onto the bump and left on evening and over night. (The instructions advise to leave on for a minimum of 12 hours)I saw visible improvements the very next morning! It was as if magic. The bump hasn't completely gone, but it has drastically reduced and it is helping my piercing to heal better and faster for it.The reason this does not have 5 stars, is because out of curiosity, I placed a patch on my recent burn scar. It is rather dark in colour (I have mixed-race skin tone) and though there was definitely an improvement, it hasn't lightened as much as I'd have hoped. But as I say, it is a rather dark burn and it may work better depending on skin tone.Would certainly recommend for anyone suffering from pesky nose piercing bumps! This product is not the best is a waisting of money for me, scars away long the green packs of 6 for 2month supply is the best, is expensive thou but it last longer and healed scars have been using it for 11month is really good, the moment I try this cheap one I regret it and I have to abandoned it and go back to my previous product

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who feels uncomfortable about some scarring. I had an inceident in January which left me with a C shaped scar inbetween my eyesbrows/ bridge of nose. Obviously its in quite a prominent place and its was very noticeable. As ot was only a few months ago my scar is still going through the healing process and won't be fukly healed for a whilst however after a few days of using Scaraway you could already see a huge difference. The lumps and bumps round the edge of the scar had been flattened completely. And i can tell the difference when i have been wearing it on my scar for long periods. I also thinn it has taken some of the colour out of my scar too. Its definitely speeded up the healing process and i wasnt expecting to see results so quickly. 100% worth the money

I’ve used this product on and off for s few years now, on various scars. It’s hard to say whether or not it works, as the scar’s are obviously healing with time. The players themselves can be difficult to keep on at night - I’ve awoken to find them stuck to my pillow many times. Do they work? Maybe. Worth the price? Definitely not now! Mine came with a plastic container to keep them in. They also lose their stickiness when washed, so you can really end up going through them. Wouldn’t waste your money. I saw minimal effects.

Probably does work.. but who knows - the damn things do not stay on! They are not sticky enough.In fact, a normal plaster stays on better than this.. i put one on and it has fallen off within a few hours.. sometimes i have managed to catch it in time, and other times i just don't know where it has gone. I wouldn't mind, but they are not cheap!All in all, the question of if it works or not.. i am not sure. I think they MAY be effective scar treatment.. but i have yet to see as they do not stay on.. i have a couple left so will try sticking it on with sellotape or something.. but it's a shame that something simple like this has ruined an otherwise (possibly) good product. I'd save your money if i were you - or make sure you have plenty of sellotape!!!!

These sheets have been perfect for me, exactly the right size and they stick very well; they're very comfortable and made me feel a lot more secure about my scars, cushioning them from clothes, etc. I simply pull them off before showering and pop back on after. If they lose adhesiveness you just have to wash them in cold water and the silicon returns to its prior sticky state. I've been using these for a month now and they have made a dramatic improvement to my scars, flattening them nicely.
