Very comfortable & built like a tank
After reading so many reviews about the durability and comfort problems with other brands, I decided to give Neck Flex a try. It's obvious that the Ballistic Kevlar Series is built to last. It's also very comfortable to wear. It took a while to get it adjusted properly, but once I did, the Neck Flex stayed absolutely stable on my head. With the chain attached to the dog ear buckles and hanging 45lbs of weight, the Neck Flex did not slide or move on my head in any way. I intend to use the Neck Flex primarily with the chain and weights, but I also played a little with the resistance bands. I can see the bands being useful for injury rehab. The Neck Flex is really expensive compared to the other neck harness' out there, but for me it was worth the extra money.

Easy to Use, Great Workout, Excellent Construction
I sit at a desk a lot. This gives me a chronic stiff neck. The NeckFlex has been awesome at giving me a way to stretch and strengthen my neck. It's vastly helped with my constantly stiff neck. It's super easy to use, and I even use it while working at my desk. The construction is top notch. All the stitching is clean, the nylon is super heavy duty, and the padding is very comfortable. It's easily adjustable for everything from my wife's petite head up to my big 'ol biscuit. The included elastic band is the perfect length and weigh. It's easy go from light stretching to choking up on the band and getting a good burn going. The doorway adapter works great and is similarly well constructed. I don't use the included chain, but if you have free weights, the chain allows you to hook up dumbbells or plates which is great. The NeckFlex also easily hooks up to a cable machine or Bowflex.Everything comes in a nice drawstring bag, so if you go to a gym, it'll keep everything together.100% would recommend. I haven't found a good way to stretch and exercise my neck until now. This is a buy it for life kinda purchase as this puppy will outlast you.

Quality stands out
The craftsmanship of this product standouts. The stitching looks very clean and well done. The fit was perfect for both myself and my son. Since using the ballistic my chronic neck pain, due to my manual labor job, has subsided greatly. Its especially noticable at the end of the day when it typically would hurt the most. I love the carrying bag that fits all the accessories and harness. I use it mostly at home but my son uses it with his team for workouts so it's nice to be able to stuff everything in and go. He's a young athlete and I have him uses it for preventing injury. Incorporating it in his workout while he is young felt like a building block to future fitness and safety as his body changes. Im definitely glad we decided to buy this specific one. Plus who doesn't like supporting a small business.

Resistance bands > Neck Flex
The idea behind this neck harness is good but it is not comfortable and you will get a much better workout using good quality elastic bands from American Barbell or EliteFTS. Iron Neck as well as Neck Flex are overpriced because you can achieve at least the same thing, with more comfort, safety and neck stimulation, using quality elastic bands.Holding the resistance band (included with this product) down behind your back, as is shown in their instructional videos, will compress your cervical spine. You need to secure the resistance band up at neck level or above to safely workout the front of your neck (neck flexion) without compressing the cervical spine. You can achieve the same effect, and get a much better neck pump, by wrapping an elastic band around a pole/bar and your forehead or back of head, and perform neck rotations to workout the front and back of your neck. Progression to a thicker elastic band is all that you need to build a well rounded strong neck. There are a lot of YouTube fitness influencers promoting this product but it is not worth the price. You will see them wrapping this to cables and doing all kinds of movements that are unsafe, unnecessary and just a total waste of time. The quality of the material and stitching seems of high quality but the product is not comfortable compared to some other neck harnesses on the market. The chain is too long and can only be used by wrapping it through a plate. The neck strap is not comfortable and you can't just throw a dumbbell on the chain since the chain is thick, long, and slippery. Other neck harnesses such as the IronMind Hercules neck harness are much more comfortable but they are only useful for neck extensions. In conclusion, I strongly believe that you can get a much better neck pump and a more efficient workout using good quality elastic resistance bands and by doing neck flexion with a dumbbell on your forehead. The product is well made but it is not comfortable compared to other neck harnesses. If you've never done neck workouts with elastic bands then you might be impressed... if you've used thick resistance bands for neck training then you may end up disappointed.
