Q: Very confused that it says the material is silicon and then it says latex and silicon free in the description. Which is it?

Hello, Our apologies with the confusion. We are working on cleaning up the listing to properly detail the materials. These are made with Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE). They are manufactured in St. Louis, Missouri.

Q: Is the inside of the well ribbed or etched so the lens doesn't stick to the bottom?

No, it's smooth. But I've never had an issue with getting my lens on the end of my finger if I wet it with sterile saline first. I've been using these kind of cases for many years now.

Q: Can someone tell me how much volume each one holds? Teaspoon? 1/2 teaspoon? I'd like to use them for storing small batches of mixed acrylic paint.

Each well holds about 2 mL, or little less than 1/2 a teaspoon.

Q: are these individually wrapped in plastic?

The cases are NOT individually wrapped. They are all stuck in a large plastic packaging.
