It wouldn't stick to thing one for more than five minutes when I first got it - it had some sort of sticky coating on the suction pad. After I had washed off the sticky coating it started to work properly. It's been stuck to the glass panel on my pc for three weeks and hasn't budged.I got it so as to stick onto my acoustic guitar body so I could have a chord sheet or a lyric sheet nearby with the ability to scroll through without putting down my pick. For this it is suitable.

This stuff is very good, I love it.

This smartphone holder is Excellent - it is simple, yet elegant and very effective.The suction on the bottom allows the holder to connect to any surface, be it upside down, at an angle or the right way up. When mounted, it feels sturdy and reliable, so I never felt like it was going to snap off or let the phone slip out accidentally. The adjustable arms have a quick release mechanism which works great, and when the arms are engaged, they hold the phone in place snugly and securely.The large cradle with adjustable arms fits both Apple and Android devices. I have tried it with an iPhone 7 and a Samsung Galaxy S6, and both slot in perfectly.Overall, for the price it is, I am very pleased with the quality and functionality of this product.

EDITED On 22-11-2021 - Unfortunately after a few months use the windscreen suction cup doesn't stick to the windscreen anymore and it falls off after a few minutes - most disappointing!----------------------------------I bought this so that I could use my iPhone SE in conjunction with the Waze maps app and it works really well and is perfect for use with the smaller bodied phones such as the SE, the mount uses a suction cup which is very easy to fit and sticks onto the windscreen like superglue but is very easy to remove by pressing on the lug, it uses suction so can be repositioned easily.My iPhone was very easy to fit into the holder and once again it isn't going anywhere once the side bars have been adjusted, these are easy to adjust for width and to release to take the phone out.Please note this windscreen car mount is best used with SE sized phones because although we tried fitting one of the larger iPhones into it these are physically too large so look at one of the other types if you have a iPhone 6 or bigger, the issue is the short support bar from the mount to the windscreen which means it is too close to the windscreen, if your windscreen has rake then the top of the phone will hit the windscreen and if you tilt the phone downwards you can't see the display, I hasten to add that this mount is absolutely perfect for the smaller iPhones like the SE and similar sized alternative brands and it really is very well made.Bottomline... if you have an iPhone or similar sized phone it comes highly recommended. EDITED 22-11-2021 Shame the suction cup is no longer sticking to the windscreen and it falls off!!!

I had to hurriedly replace the one I'd had for a couple of years as the plastic holder had snapped. If the windscreen gets hot from the sun, it will fall off. But you just have to put it back on. It's a good product for the price - that's why I bought another! Easy to install, quick to put the phone on and offit.

Lousy quality

Love this and should have bought it years ago. I can put up in seconds on my dashboard and I’m on the road. Easy take off and on. Don’t throw away the circular plastic wrapping that it comes with (for the sucker) as I put it back once I’m done - this helps to retain the stickiness.

This is not suitable for for a S5 and a Duster Dacia windscreen (my combination) The phone it too long to fit into the cradle and allow attachment to the windscreen.I only discovered this today - had it lying around for a week or so without needing to use. I would have sent back but had already thrown all the wrapping.Certainly is a VERY strong attachment to the windscreen.
