Best food dispenser toy I’ve found
I was looking for a food dispenser toy as a boredom breaker for my working cocker spaniel and as a method of making him ‘work’ for his food to help manage his waistline! I’ve had various types before but they usually don’t get used, either because they dispense food too easily and only last a few minutes each time, are flimsy and break, or are too difficult and he gets bored trying with no reward. This one is great; a good size and really robust, and the weighting combined with the ability to vary the size of the dispensing hole means it’s just difficult enough without being too difficult. I put his kibble in it each evening, along with a few pieces of treats to make it even more interesting, and he spends a good half hour pushing it around till it’s empty. It really keeps his attention and he looks forward to it each day; he knows when it’s time and gets very excited waiting while I fill it! By the time it’s empty he’s ready for a sleep, so it definitely tires him out mentally and physically. As some other reviews say, it takes a few minutes to get the kibble and treats fed into the hole to fill it, but it’s a very minor niggle and certainly wouldn’t put me off buying it. Definitely well worth the money- if you’re looking for a food dispenser toy for any reason, I’d highly recommend trying this one.

Superb - easy to use and way better than a kong wobble feeder
Had this for three years, used often, stayed in good condition. This despite our 18kg gannet being quite a chewer. From reading other reviews, people seem to push the kibble down into the main body. That would be fiddly and take ages. I set the hole in the top only a whisker bigger than the kibble, and just fill that upper section before screwing on the top. That way dogface has to rattle the kibble down into the bottom, as well as out of the hatch on the side. Sometimes I’ll fill it a few times - this has helped to reduce his food guarding because he knows that if he lets me take it away and handle it he’ll get more food. Way better than the kong wobble feeder because it takes him much longer. He always has to work for his food, whether it’s by training or using a toy like this. You wouldn’t just give a zoo animal their food in a bowl, no reason to do that to a dog either. This is a great tool for keeping your dog active and engaged and it’s well worth the money.

Just buy it and see. Great item for intelligent dogs easily bored.
Absolute life saver. I have a neurotic 15 month old GSD bitch who incessantly chases, chews and whines at her own tail, whilst the well adjusted 3 year looks on in complete disbelief. NOTHING has stopped her from doing it; not balls, treats, attention, nada... zilch... nothing... the tail is getting it!Until this little belter. A ball combined with loud noises and treats coming out as you smack it around the house? And one that if you nudge it with your nose bobs right back at you? Tail? What tail?!The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the construction. Firstly the little adjustable door isn't intelligent dog proof; the 3 year old has figured out that if he can get hold of it for long enough, shut the door to stop the treats coming out, and then innocently hand it back to the youngun', that she soon loses interest, which then means it's game on for him to have it away to a quiet corner of the house, to open said door back up again and digest all the treats inside at leisure. Secondly is that I doubt the lid would last long if left unsupervised. However, saying that, the 3 year old has now learnt it's not to be chewed, and it's survived a whole day in their unsupervised presence. Lastly, it doesn't half make a racket when whizzing across wooden floors and bashing into skirting boards and doors. Added entertainment factor for the mutts, I think! But it certainly beats the sound of Ms. Neurosis whining at her tail all day long!So all in all, a brilliant product to keep your hounds entertained. 5 stars as and when the manufacturer manages to produce some sort of chew proof muffling case and lid. I've just bought a second one to stop them scrapping over it, so that says it all.

Absolutely fantastic!
The media could not be loaded. We've had this for 3 months now and it's brilliant. Our puppy Molly loves her food and nothing slowed her down, she inhaled it! We tried all the slow feeder bowls and they didnt work, we tried different games for feeding and she just picked them up and turned them over to get the food out all at once. The Bob-a-Lot is brilliant, really really sturdy, it's heavy so she can't pick up and swing it around, and it dispenses her kibble slowly enough for her to actually eat it properly so she doesn't get indigestion or make herself sick. She's now 11 months old and 28kg and is fed twice a day. I got the large size and it is it's big enough to hold the full feed (Tails dry kibble - which has some fairly big bits in it).The only slightly annoying thing is it takes a few minutes to fill up because her kibble is quite large so has to be fed in slowly because there's a guide hole to make sure you don't put things in that are too big to come out. Makes total sense, you just need to make sure you factor in the time to fill it.It's brilliant, buy it.

Excellent
Top marks for this product. It does exactly what it says on the tin, keeps my dog entertained, he loves it. I even give hin his normal daily food portion out of it.The hard plastic material that it is made from provides durabilty despite having food in it. It's probably the best purchase that I have ever made for him.One word of advice get tough paint on your skirting boards.

Great product for dogs that need lots of mental exercise
We bought this for our lab puppy and have been using it for about 4 months. It has been a great enrichment toy for her. Very durable. I do wish it was easier to clean and that the company sold replacement caps because they get worn down after a few months of use. We love how it has different difficulty settings. Definitely buying another one when the time comes.

We love this quiz feeder, keeps our dog busy for a little bit
My sister-in-law lent us hers for a couple months, it was great so we had to buy our own. Kong has one a little smaller, but it's single port and it's not adjustable. This one has two fully adjustable ports. It's a lot heavier and larger than the Kong, it actually bangs around enough to turn on the "knock" oven light in our LG stove - but I don't really see this as a problem. You can put any size kibble in there and adjust the ports to whatever difficulty level you choose which is awesome. If the dog is being particularly annoying, we close the port to absolute minimum size so it takes him a while to get it all out as a sort of gentle punishment. If we want to reward, we open the port wider so food comes out easier. It's made up of a very soft plastic, so it gouges really easily when the dog bites it or carries it around in his mouth unfortunately. Ours has become a bit raggedy looking already a few days later. Does not affect performance or pet satisfaction at all so we can live with it. Structurally it's very strong and solid, it may get marred up but I cannot see it ever breaking. One of our best dog toy investments.

Buen producto.

Perfekt
