Stones are in a nice presentation box and the stones are just the right size. Cannot yet comment on how well they do their job as they have been bought as a Christmas present. I have read the manufacturers instructions on their site and the stones should be washed then put in the freezer for 4 hours or overnight and the whole box can go into the freezer. Hoping that my husband will love these stones to chill his drinks.

This is one of those things that has you slapping your forehead and thinking "What weren't these invented 50 years ago?". I'm so pleased with the purchase that I've bought two more sets as gifts for friends. They don't cool your drink down as much as ice does, but maybe that's no bad thing.

*EDIT: The customer service was amazing, owner is really nice and willing to help.These are pretty good for the price and smartly presented. They do cool your drink down for a very short amount of time, however lose their coolness very very quickly. They're a pretty cool novelty item, but honestly you might as well just buy ice.

I brought these for my Whisky loving partner, and he is very pleased with them. They come in a lovely wooden box that can be put complete straight into the freezer, they take no room up at all. They keep the drink nice and cold but not too cold. I was told to buy these granite ones as other brands/types leave a soapy residue in the glass, but not these, no taste or residue left behind at all.

These rocks are nothing more than a gimmick. I use the entire container each time I have a drink and they hardly cool my drink down at all. They look awesome, the box that they come in looks awesome, but practical....no. Rather get yourself a bag of ice.
