termtech 1 X 3A BLOCK CONNECTOR STRIP for jointing cable

What can one say to describe one of the simplest yet so handy items? They are made well, and they work. Apart from the fact that all of the value versions are of steel and not brass - so they will corrode if used outside or in damp conditions, but what component does like moisture?

As 3A black connector strips go this is a pretty fine example. Easy to separate, good quality screw bindings, optional screw holes for mounting the list goes on. I think its fair to say: I'm a fan.

Used as a cleanish way to join bits of speaker wire together. One of them, when tightening the metal inside sheared across the side. Another one was faulty - a screw hole had no thread at all. That said though, the others were okay and they're cheaper than the ones from my local shop. I do recommend these, just be careful when tightening.

It is exactly what it says it is - a lightweight connector strip for mains electricity.The plastic is soft enough to cut with a sharp blade or cable trimmers (the gap between connector blocks is wide enough to let cable trimmers in, and also includes holes if you need to screw the block to something), and the brass connectors are solid and sensible.Just the ticket for this kind of job. Of course you can get different Ampere blocks and you should use the right block - higher power ratings tend to be more solid and larger so they can be less convenient for lower power requirements.

Price was excellent but it is a connector strap, plain and simple. I would be happy to buy some more if I need iit. Have not used it yet but it looks exacly the same as you buy from any DIY shop/store. Good price, good quality, it's OK.

Great value connectors, but need to keep away from any serious heat source, such as confined light bulbs.

Good strip connector. Took a long while to arrive to the UK and some of the screws had fallen out and had to be dug out of the packaging, but they were all present.

I bought this to joing cables in my Cosplay suit. Easy to use and was able to avoid soldering in tight places. Item is as described and well made.
