easy to use and battery life is good. Temperature accuracy is right on.

The item worked very well. The color orange is great. It stands out and you know it is for your animals. I used it under the front leg, she did not mind it at all. Good to know she did not have a fever. Would recommend.

Perfect little thermometer, small tip makes it easy to take Newborn puppies temperature.

I keep these on hand for emergencies with my pets. Not sure if a pet thermometer really is any different than a people thermometer......but it's my pets. They're spoiled.

I bought this to have because my dog is undergoing chemo and I'm supposed to check her temp if she is having treatment side effects, to see if I need to take her to the vet ER. She had a treatment yesterday and started vomiting today so I got out this thermometer to take her rectal temp. After I inserted the thermometer, I got an Err message, at one point it sounded like it was running out of battery (stored in Off position, and again, first time using it since I checked it when it arrived) and I see the battery low symbol. Finally get a beep and it says the temp is 96 point something. I knew that was really low so I removed it and decided to go ahead and use the extra battery that came in the box, but I couldn't get the original battery out. I decided to try again, turned it on and inserted it, and I counted over 40 seconds and the temp is still ticking up (advertised as 20 seconds) Finally gave up at 99.7 because my dog was ready for it to be over. I don't recommend this thermometer.
