Very basic but does its job
This is a very simple item - basically one of those plastic cases a Black and Decker drill comes in - plus a handful of useful cables. When you first get it there is a bit of a 'is that it?' feeling. When you go to install the pedals (it takes up to three) you'll realise it is ridiculously tight. Once pedals are in they ain't going nowhere! This is good from a security point of view but a pain if you want to change pedals frequently. The other issue is that the pedals are so close there is no way to insert or remove jacks once they are in place which generally rules out being able to use battery power. So, as long as you are happy with just three pedals, you have a suitable power adapter, and you have the required strength to get the things in, then overall this is a handy little case and a nice cheap intro to pedalboards.

Boss Pedal Board
This is a small pedal board and only takes three pedals which is fine for what I wanted. The full size Boss pedal board costs over £100-. I had no problems with the price but my guitar teacher thought it should have included a power supply but as I had the supply already I had no problem with that. It does include the patch leads and daisy chain which are compact versions and my full size patch leads wouldn't work with this. It is about the size of an electric drill case and I've had a few jokes about, 'why have you brought your drill with you?'. It fits the boss pedals as you would expect but I have a couple of behringer pedals which fit just as easily even with the power connections on the side. The behringer pedals are stereo with two outputs which you would need extra of the mini patch leads but I use them as mono only so for me it's not a problem. It arrived the day after I ordered it and the postage by express delivery was included in the price so if you factor that in the price is quite reasonable.

Excellent pedal board
I am a bass player, and have a couple of effects pedals and a tuner that always got tangled up and are a pain. So I looked for pedal boards, but most are large and assume you have about 20 pedals - fine for a lead player but not me!This case is perfect for three pedals, and whilst it is aimed at Boss pedals, my two digitech pedals fit perfectly (you need quite a push to get them in, but once in they are stable and secure). The supplied patch cables are a perfect fit (but if you use stereo pedals you might struggle to get two patch leads in). There is enough room for a wall wart power supply and the whole case snaps shut and is easy to transport.Obviously the board dosnt make my playing any better, but the fact that I can 'turn up, plug in and go' without the usual hassle fo pedals and such like is really good.

Just the right size pedal board for a bassist
I mean, you only need a tuner and a compressor if you're a bassist. Right? Well, some of my band would question whether I even need a tuner. Cheeky monkeys. Like they're always in tune. Anyway, this is a nice robust pedal board that is just the right size to hold my MXR bass compressor, power brick and Boss tuner nice and securely. It's small and holds just three pedals. If you have all Boss pedals then they simply 'snap' into three 'position slots' and are held securely. Because I have two MXR boxes, I used sticky backed Velcro to keep these secured. Would be nice if Boss produced a compressor like the MXR then I wouldn't have needed the Velcro. But no matter, all three boxes fit in just fine and the case can be set up on stage quickly just by removing the lid.

For BOSS pedals only
I took a chance on this following another reviewers guidance that other pedals would fit the board. My digitech pedals DID NOT fit until I reground out the nodules within the holding beds in the moulded case. Board now works perfectly, but if you don't want to have to modify, then maybe you would be better to only buy this purely for BOSS products as described. Case is very robust and the daisy chain and connections included work adequately and with the addition of a power supply bought separately have used this successfully on stage.

Does the job perfectly
I love this - as a home guitarist I only need three pedals and this does the job perfectly. My pedals are Berhinger too, and apart from having to take out the right-hand-side power/input leads of the far right pedal it all fits fine and snug. There's even space for my tuner and a short lead. You'll need a power supply, but you can get a generic (non-Boss) one that fits fine.Like I said, I am just a bloke who sometimes sets up and plays the guitar at home for fun - this has cut down my 'setup' time from 20 minutes to 3 minutes so I much more time to learn tab of crap eighties rock ballads! Result.

Neat little unit
This is a great little unit if you only use a few pedals and want something that's easily transportable. The Amazon price is also very competitive. I got mine primarily for use with my acoustic instruments and have installed a DD-2 delay, CE-5 chorus and BF-3 flanger. Although switching pedals is relatively easy (they just clip into the moldings) I'm now considering a second one for my electric instruments because is suspect constant inserting and removing of pedals will soon wear the plastic out. The one word of caution I would sound here is that these units really only work with BOSS pedals. I have a couple of other pedals and they simply don't fit in the slots.
