This stove looks impressive and the log flame effect is very pleasing and 'warming to the eye'. There's no noise when just using the flame effect. When using the blower heater there is a reasonable amount of noise but that's to be expected with any kind of blower heater.We have a very large inglenook fireplace, one you can sit in beside the stove. It looks big enough there and sets off the fireplace very well as it's central feature.I had reservations because it has a gloss finish which looks slightly "modern" in an old cottage. However, I need not have worried as it looks just great there. A matt finish would attract the dust which would be difficult to remove, whereas this stove can be quickly rubbed clean to look like new again.Very pleased with the purchase.The supplier Luzern arranged super fast delivery and were excellent and friendly in answering questions.

i have read reviews on this fire before we bought it, and when it came all the 5 star reviews were correct, delivery within 2 days, very nice driver very helpful, well packaged and the fire is just stunning, I would recommend this fire for all sorts of reason, well made, very sturdy fits beautiful in our fire place, the high gloss effect is brilliant and the heater well you just don't know it on its very quiet, the fire heats the room up very quickly and I am one very happy customer, go on treat your self you will not be disappointed well worth the money

This electric stove type fire is very attractive to look at with it's glossy black enamel coating and double opening doors. The flame effect is really nice, I have only tried it with the wood though and not the coal alternative that was supplied with it. It is so nice and cosy to look at. I really like it apart from one thing, the fan makes a noise when the heat is on, something I was not prepared for. It is quite loud but is drowned out by the tv noise when it is on so not too bad then. I bought a stove pipe too to make it look more authentic, which it does.

Very stylish, well made electric heater. We bought it to fit in an inglenook fireplace and it looks stunning. Comes with a choice of log or coal effect which is great. The flame effect is one of the best I have seen. Noise is not an issue despite other reviews being quite alarmist. You are buying an electric convector in a fancy package. Get over it, if you want silence buy gas. We are extremely pleased and all who have seen it have positive comments. So much more welcoming than central heating radiators. Fully recommend you buy it.

Really disappointed as the fire is gorgeous and fitted in our fireplace so well. It arrived very well packaged. It is quite heavy! When I turned it on, the grinding noise was like a cement mixer - it wasn't possible to hear the TV over it or even have a conversation. I'm assuming a blade or disc inside the mechanism is dented or faulty - we expected a bit of a hum, but this noise was terrible. The fan heater itself isn't very noisy and seems efficient although we turned it off very quickly as the grinding noise was quite worrying. I've requested a refund from the seller but have to wait to see if one is granted. Such a shame as the fire was perfect for us and is very sturdy and heavy and appears to be of top quality.

Looked at all different types of electric stoves and initially viewed cast iron stoves (the stove was purchased for flame effect only). Glad I went with this one as it is easier on the bank balance and so goes with my tv and stand. The flames are so realistic and mesmerizing. Didn't know whether to watch the t.v or the fire. Looking forward to such a cosy winter now the nights are drawing in and can relax curled up on the sofa enjoying such a homely environment.

This is a lovely fire. I wasn't sure about the polished finish when I ordered it but I think it looks really good in real life. Have only used it with heat once and after an initial 'new' smell (which went away very quickly) it seems fine, and gives out quite sufficient heat for my dining room. I imagine I will use it mostly just with the flame effect and no heat and it certainly does cheer the room up. Seems nice quality and I notice it was considerably less expensive than other retailers that I checked around the time I made the purchased.

Lovely looking log burning feature a little noisy which I could put up with if it chucked out some heat which it doesn't bought this to replace the small heater we use in the conservatory wish I had looked a bit harder before I purchased as this does not do the job
