Looks good, pocket has four huge holes at bottom
This was easy to install and came with instructions, and is works with DIN, ISO, and double DIN. The weird thing is, there are four large at the bottom of the pocket. I don't see any use for this and hope no one makes the mistake of putting anything down there.

Metra dash kit for Nissan Versa
This is my second experience with a Metra kit, and it was a good one, just like the first. This kit is for the Nissan Versa, and it fit very well. It was easy to install, and looks good in my car. Quality is good & I would buy it again.Instructions are easily found on the internet, and I would highly suggest you read them. There is also a video, which I found helpful. DO NOT UNPLUG THE AIRBAG when you take apart your dash! You will mess up the entire airbag system, requiring an expensive trip to the dealer. No, I didn't do this, thanks to warnings from other people online.I found that non-OEM radios are a tighter fit in the Versa & in this dash kit than in other cars, so keep that in mind when ordering/installing an after market radio. For example, I had to remove the factory faceplate on my after market radio to fit in this car, but didn't have to remove it to fit in my last Metra kit for another vehicle.Make sure you order the antenna adapter for your non-Nissan radio, since the Nissan antenna connection is funky! The antenna is also amplified, and requires a power source, so the extra wire on that adapter needs to be connected to power. I also ordered the wire kit to connect the speakers, etc with the Nissan wiring harness.Oh, one more thing! Apparently, Nissan installs sub par speakers (who woulda guessed.) The impedence on the speakers may be too low for your system, thereby blowing out your internal amp. I replaced the speakers, and mine turned out to be JUNK!

Installed a JVC touchscreen double DIN stereo for the kid and the gap from the OEM stereo was only like 1-2mm at most
Ended up not using it. Installed a JVC touchscreen double DIN stereo for the kid and the gap from the OEM stereo was only like 1-2mm at most. It looked good without it so I sad forget it and left it like that. If you're doing a 2011-ish Versa you probably wont need it either, but your call. Kid loves the new stereo, didn't even mention the tiny gap. I imagine the gap varies from stereo to stereo brands though. Came with plastic brackets but I used the factory steel ones, though it was screwed in with 6-point Torx screws - used a slotted to get them out and in.

Great no complaints
Great item and I would buy again. Went smoothly for a 2007 Nissan Versa. Put the final trim on before you put the plastic that has the controls on it back. This piece will hold the trim on better for single DIN. When hooking the antenna adapter blue wire hook it to the blue/white wire. Hook both black ground wires to a screw in the upper right above radio. It's next to an air duct and in between near where the little storage compartment goes back into. Don't unhook the left airbag plug on the plastic face where the knobs are. Only unplug the one on the right. You have two connectors to plug in. One to the harness and one for the antenna. The other you don't use.

Almost perfect
It almost fit my car. I had to get rid cut a piece off my dashboard to fit this in. You can alternatively cut the sides of this thing, but I had no tools.

Pretty Good Fit
This Dash Kit worked out very well.It looks good with my head unit installed.Went in with minimal difficulty. I had trouble getting a couple inner clips to fit past the dash kit (two clips on either side of the opening by the air flow dials. However I just used a hot soldering tip and melted them off and it fit right on.I would buy from Metra again in the future.

It's perfect!
Works great! Fits my 2009 Nissan Versa Hatchback perfectly. This is the third time I have installed a car stereo on my own and this dash kit worked very well. I trust Metra. They have never let me down. They are solid and seem easier to put together than scoche.

fits 07 versa. unfortunately the front plate of my radio can't fit in the frame so my radio looks flushed inside. not a big issue for me. i wish i found one where the radio is on top and the storage at the bottom. This would help my iphone cable from getting in the way of the radio as it sits on top of the radio.
