ITS REAL, IT WORKS, WOW!
WOW, I just got it today, charged it, and just finished using it. It transformed my teeth! It completely removes plaque. Especially the wall of plague in the back.It turned my dark bottom crooked sunken back tooth into a shiny new clean look tooth! The two teeth beside it built up walls of plaque that were hard to get to. They came off like a sheet! CREEPY AND SATISFYING!Afterward, my teeth felt a level of clean that I never knew I would have again. This is cleaner than a dental hygienist could do.The results are real. Like sci-fi next level amazing!

Works great on dogs.
I wish I knew about this earlier.I'll start off by saying, I used this on my dog.It doesn't specifically say for dog use, but there is a picture of a dog on the box. And if you compare to ones that are marketed for dogs, it's the same.I have a greyhound. They have notoriously bad mouths. Tons of plaque that accumulates. For years, I've tried water additives. Chews. Treats. And all the other typically recommended home remedies, other than taking her to the vet and putting her under for a cleaning. She's old now, and I'm concerned about putting her under. But she desperately needed a cleaning.I'm blown away by this little thing. My dog growls and snaps when I clip her nails, but she was surprisingly passive when I used this on her. She clearly didn't love it, but mostly just kept trying to pull her head away. When it comes in contact with enough resistance, you hear the ultrasonic kick in and it lets out a high pitched noise as it moves. As it states, it's silent when it's pressed against skin because it's not activated. Once you press it on teeth or a glass it kicks in.I started on soft to get used to it. The angle of approach definitely has an impact on effectiveness. But even on soft you can see it starting to scrape away the dog's plaque. Her back teeth had some real build up so I had to crank it up a bit. On a higher setting and at the right angle it chipped it away in seconds. And I can't believe how my dog's teeth look. They look fantastic. And it puts me in a place to make water additives or brushing more effective with all the hard plaque gone. I will probably do a few small sessions with this for maintenance as I'm sure it will come back. But I'm pretty thrilled that I spent $40 to achieve pretty much the same thing as an $800+ vet visit to get this done. She didn't have to be put under. And didn't have to deal with the stress of the vet.At least on my first use the batter worked great. It lasted 30+ minutes as I cleaned her mouth, breaking it up into small sessions. I'm not sure how long it would have kept going. But it did the job with power to spare. It came with a number of attachments that I haven't used. A few for the device and others for manual cleaning. The size is fine. I wouldn't say it had much impact on usage. It's around the size of an electric toothbrush depending on your model.Overall, I'd say if you think your dog is calm enough for you to run this along their teeth, it's well worth the investment. It cleaned off years of plaque build up I've been struggling to remove from the typical home methods in a matter of minutes. Her breath has been awful for a while, but immediately became bearable with the plaque gone.It stops pretty quickly when you touch the gums. She had a small amount of bleeding if I went too hard just along the line, but no more than I myself have experienced during a dentist cleaning. I'd say have a toothbrush and water nearby or a way to squirt water on the teeth. Chunks will break in different sizes and it's good to flush that out as you go. Also makes you feel pretty good about the progress.Highly recommend for dogs.

Works on tolerant dogs
WHY DIDNT I BUY THIS SOONER? Bought this for my dog but tried it on myself first to see what it feels like. It's not a huge vibration, but to a dog it's not going to feel natural from the start. Go slowly especially if your dog has never experienced strange things in their mouth (toothbrush, dentist tools, etc). I used to scrape my dogs' teeth with a dentists scaler, but this is so much better. Safer - I don't have to worry about accidentally hurting them if I'm pulling hard on a tarter spot and it slips or they move. You can carefully set it in one spot first and expand gradually. Its more gentle - less pressure and force needed to make progress. It gradually breaks through the tartar so be patient and stick to contacting the tooth surface. It doesn't do as well on the surface of tartar/calculus. It does get HOT after extended run time so feel the tip every once in awhile to check. (There's a reason the dentist office version sprays water at the same time!) I was switching between two dogs to give them breaks and I needed to dip the tip in water to cool it down. The noise is a very high pitch vibration as the tip touches the tooth. It didn't bother me or my dogs, but I can imagine it irritating sensitive ears.

IT REALLY DOES WORK GUYS (AND GALS)
As many other reviewers, I was extremely skeptical about this thing working. Man am I excited that I tried it. IT ACTUALLY WORKS!! I am not sure what kind of calculus people that say "it doesn't remove any calculus" have, but it DEFINITELY removes calculus. There are 5 settings on it ranging from soft to super strong. Perhaps they need to go up a notch. I had not been to the dentist in years and had quite a bit of tartar build up on my lower teeth and this thing is so powerful that it removed ALL of that plaque, on the LOWEST setting. I also read a negative review about it only putting silver marks on their teeth. I think they may have veneers because I've only seen it do that on teeth with veneers, not actual tooth enamel. This device actually does clean the teeth but I think some people are expecting a whitening effect and this is not for that. Some others complained about lack of vibration. I'm not sure what kind of vibration they want on their teeth but I am happy that I don't feel any real vibration. I have not had any problems with the battery not holding a charge but I also haven't had it for even a month yet. I will say that it was a bit awkward trying to fit the device in my mouth at the angle I needed it to clean. This was more of a me thing than the device itself. I also have to admit to the noise level being nerve-racking, as some others have mentioned. Although, I'd rather power through that noise for thirty-five dollars, than the torture that comes with sitting in the dentist's chair, at a higher out of pocket cost.
