Mustang One-Piece Wide Vintage Touring Seat with Driver Backrest 75244

Prompt shipping, well packaged and perfect fit to my 1998 Virago XV 1100. Was concerned about fitment on this aftermarket seat but the rear slot and front bracket flanges fit perfect. Took me all of 10 minutes to install. This is very well built with solid, quality materials. Looks great and feels great on my rear end! Have taken a few longer rides since I installed, and it's really a LOT more comfortable than the stock seat. Contours around your rear and the extra support from the front part of the passenger seat does not protrude into your back at all, but just feels like the seat extends naturally up from wrap-around part of the front seat. NOTE that there is an extra vertical pad behind the passenger seat (not shown in the product photo, but is in the product description). This pad fits right up under the stock pad on the upper part of the sissy bar that came on my bike, so there is now a continuous backing the entire height of sissy bar. Give better support for passenger, but if you don't have a sissy bar, then ask seller if there is a version of this seat without the vertical pad behind the passenger seat portion. I think I got my $370 worth. No regrets on this purchase.

The factory seat on my 96 Virago XV1100 was showing a lot of wear. Thoroughly researched replacement options before deciding on the Mustang seat.I truly wish I had done this years ago.ProsThe seat fit perfectly and installed in about ten minutes. The tail piece immediately behind the passenger seat fit smoothly under the factory sissy bar pad.Took a test ride and could not believe how much better it was. It was almost like riding a new bike.After 150 miles, my back and tailbone were pain free and still comfortable. I felt as if I could ride all day. This seat eliminates the pushed forward feeling of the factory seat experienced by passengers. My wife used to insist on short breaks every half hour or so. She claimed to sit much more comfortably compared to the old seat.ConsNone as yet

Fit perfectly, more heavy than original, not so soft, but really good, with perfect quality, for my height 178 cm

Jury is still out on the comfort of it, it's pretty firm. But from what I've read about them is that they almost need to be broken in. I've only ridden my bike a couple of times with this seat. The weather isn't really warm enough yet for more riding. I'll know better in another month how I like (or dislike) it. Was easy to install though.
