I love BBQ, I have 5 grills in the house from mini portable to half drum style grill. This one is excellent for skewer. I did try to use as regular grill with the mesh comes with it to cook pork chop, wings etc... but it turns out hard to control the heat due to the fix charcoal tray is very close to the mesh event is the lowest level, and hard to control the air flow because it doesn't have control. However, is best for skewer, because skewer is a lot faster to cook. I think lamb chop, hotdog and veggies are ok too. just not the big and thick meat items that needs longer time to cook.This grill does have 2 level for the charcoal tray, to adjust to lower level it must disassemble and reassemble the tray. thats about 1 inch lower. And the tray is pre-install in high position out of the box.The Grill itself is very solid and heavy. So far I am please with it. the mesh wire is too thin it can easily bended.

I liked the idea of this grill. It was easy to put together. Looks nice. The grill grate is poor quality and will bend or warp with heat. The charcoal basin does not allow enough airflow even with the removable sides covers. The basin has super small holes, not allowing the coal ash to depart. The ash has no where to go, eventually smothering the fire. So to remedy the situation I jimmy rigged the sucker. I removed the basin and replaced it with a sheet metal grate allowing the ash to fall through. I replaced the grill grate with cast iron to make it more sturdy. Works pretty good now. I like that you can disassemble it and fold it up. I bought a nice box to store it and take camping. Basically, I've invested more in this grill than I anticipated. The seller offered a complete refund or new grill. I chose to get refunded. They were very accommodating.

The grill requires minimal effort for installation and built with good quality materials. The weight of the grill makes it very sturdy, which can withstand a windy grill day without a problem. The stainless steel grill surface is also very easy to clean.

Grill arrived and was obviously returned before and repackaged . Shipping ties were in box loose, they had been already cut. One leg was bent and missing an end cap and grill had a good size dent in top side of grill box. Pretty disappointing !!
