Dansko Women's Desi Dress Sandal

These are cute and look very nice on. The velcro works fine, but I have to agree with another reviewer that the ankle doesn't get tight enough. I have what I have often considered thick ankles, but these just don't tighten up on them. CONTRARY to another reviewers note, the toe area IS adjustable via velcro. So if you really need it wider, you can adjust. I felt the width was fine. They adjust there via velcro, also, and the only problem is that you'll be exposing some of the velcro if you widen it. I found this out when I was putting an insert in there.Another thing I don't like about these is that they seem off balance, like I'm going to take a wrong step and rock my foot the wrong way and fall over. Dansko is famous for is rocking sole, but the narrow bottom of the shoe makes this possibly unstable.

pros: this shoe is cute as can be! Great Dansko styling and arch support.cons: if you have wide feet-- the front of the upper is too far forward and narrow, it dug into the top of my foot/toes and would have caused blisters. Not adjustable.I don't think this would be a problem for normal/narrow feet.I have plenty of Danskos, love the brand, but sadly had to send these back.

I really like this shoe - it is stylish and comfortable. I can wear them all day and they provide great support. Love the color and the decorative design. I would give them 5 stars, but as others have noted, the strap is loose at the ankle. The velcro is glued too high on the strap to pull it taut (interferes with the ring). I have found, however, that for me keeping straps somewhat loose is better in the summer (prevents my feet or toes from swelling). So, I really like these for work or wearing casually - although I would not recommend dancing in them or making a dash to catch an airplane.

Ordered these beautiful shoes in the same size as my other Danskos expecting a comfortable fit that would get me happily through summer. My feet swam in them and the velcro closure does not adjust any smaller so there was no rescue from these overly large sandals.

Years ago a co-worker told me about Dansko shoes and they have become all I will wear to work! Anyone that is on their feet all day must try these shoes. Well worth the price. I have been wearing these to work everyday for over a month and my feet feel fabulous! I wore a different non-Dankso pair one day and I could definitely feel the difference. They are really cute too. Love the flower design. The flower strap does have Velcro so you can loosen it a little bit. The ankle straps are Velcro as well. I'd say that is my only complaint. I would prefer a buckle because I know that the Velcro is going to wear out and it make it a little bit harder to adjust the size of the ankle strap. The straps were a little stiff and cut into my feet the first few days but once I wore the shoes in and they softened up a bit, they are fine now. Fit true to size. Love them!

I own a few pairs of Dansko sandals and love them. I was disappointed in these because they were poorly sized. The ankle strap was very loose, the bottom of the sandle was tight.

I normally wear a 10 2A or N, but I bought these in 41 medium width hoping they wouldn't be too wide. Well despite being a bit wide for me, I can wear them as they have velcro closure for adjustment, and they are a comfortable sandal. I just wish Dansko offered more options in their line of sandals and clogs in NARROW sizes.

Cute but had to return because the 37 left too much room above my toes yet were narrow even when I adjusted the velcro...which then irritated my skin.
