It can be 100% of substitute of genuine one
Definitly it works very well as I expected. But please be careful when you apply it because the bottom side of this piece is very sensitive and fragile. I purchased twice because first one was broken due to my lack of carefulness.

Cheap and performed better than expected
Inexpensive and fit perfectly. Important to read the instructions or watch youtube video or you can damage the key when installing it.

instruction video helpful
this was one of the best things I have ever bought and I never write reviews, I had to come and write one bc of the amazing video and replacement hinge and key for my MacBook Pro. I was nervous to put pressure on it to push it into its place the hinge but you have to put some pressure on it which the video does not tell you. amazing replacement for a MacBook to not have to bring it in to get fixed it worth the price of this alone!!

Do not buy
the plastic scissor piece was slightly too big for the keycap.

Excellent, Fast, and Wonderful Tutorial
I broke my Right-Arrow key cap and butterfly hinge. I removed it because it was sticking, and I didn't realize I had to slide it on and off the hinges. So when I tried to put it back together, I broke the hinge.I went to the Apple Store for a repair with the keycap without the hinge, but they would have had to repair it by replacing the ENTIRE keyboard since they don't carry the hinges or keycaps on their own. Because I was out of warranty it would have cost me more than $200 and they would have had to order the part anyway which would take several days. For less than 10% of that, I got ordered the part myself and followed the video on how to remove/replace them, right from the product's media page. I am able to use my right arrow again, and it works perfectly. Definitely worth it.
