Two years of rough use. Kept together really well.
So I've bought one of these previously about 2 years ago and the glue has finally given up for the loop. Also partly my fault because I did start picking at it and I tend to hold the loop partly for a better grip on my phone, having fingers rested on it for that, and so on. I have smaller hands and the s20+ is pretty big. Even besides that I can drop things because nerve and general hand issues so I've been generally pretty handsy with the thing.Could just glue and sew it back together. Right? Well also lost the wrist strap at one point, and then eventually the clip and added a keyring to hook my fingers and other things to the loop (twisting it more and probably adding to the stress on it), so buying another one.My main job is a delivery driver and I in general have my phone used A LOT. This thing has saved me so many times considering my butter fingers, even without the strap, and considering the general abuse I've put it through for TWO YEARS I'm really impressed with how well it's held up, considering me. I didn't even realize how long it's been until I checked for when the first purchase was. So between work, general use, taking pics, clipping it to things, being twisted around all the time, being picked at and yanked all the time, yeah it's a bit more expensive than some other things on amazon but it's held up really well and the other parts did too until I was dumb and lost them.Never know if next one might have some issues but that can happen at times. Has been awhile also but I can just add stitches or re glue things together. I did see something about an issue with charging port being blocked and admittedly that has happened a few times when it slipped free because I dont really use the sticky thing on my phone to keep it in place so when I was figuring things out for what phone case worked for me and it gets pulled a lot the thing got pulled a bit, but then I just reseat the tab under the case and it's fine. Not a big deal at all. The case I have now keeps it in place now fine so that hasn't been a problem either even without any sticky tape. For wireless charging it doesn't cause any issues either for in my car or any of my other stands. I also like that it's under my case Instead of being stuck to the case because I'm a lot more likely to pick at the thing if it was stuck to the outside, and my phone is in and out of my bag and pockets all the time from work and in general so I'd feel things being stuck to the outside would be too likely to peel off and re-sticking things suck. Either have to buy new products or glue them! (Again, why I'm also impressed the loop held up so well as long as it did with everything it's gone through.)Seriously though I wish a lot more stuff lasted so long under heavy constant use. For what it costs, it's really good.Even if you get one that doesn't hold up as long, or it falls apart a bit too soon then consider writing the company about it first before a bad review because issues sometimes happen and can likely get a fix for it. If you're wary about it then can put a stitch in the loop just in case too, but really the edges of it has barely even started to fray too and I kind of did that myself with the keyring, but hasn't unraveled after clipping off that part that came loose.

$50+ in products defeated by this amazing item!
My job as a patrol officer requires me to walk along various docks all night and last week my phone joined the many others decorating the bottom of our lake. Determined to never have that happen again I purchased a slew of products I thought might prevent losing my phone.I tried a ring that goes on the back of the phone with 3m. I attached a lanyard to it with a carabiner so it would stay attached to my belt or hand. The added width of the ring (especially with the carabiner made getting my phone in and out of my pocket far more difficult and made it uncomfortable to have anything else in the same pocket at the phone. I tried silicone webbing that wraps around the corners and back of the phone - nifty but the silicone strap broke after two days. I tried a pouch that hangs around the neck and keeps the phone dry - stupid idea on my part. My job requires over 200 pictures per shift and that pouch hindered every moment of work. Finally when I thought I was going to just have to be maddeningly careful and paranoid while walking the docks from now on this amazing product appeared in a search on like... page six. It is perfect and should be on page one!- The leather that the strap is hooked to is super sturdy and the entire thing is taking all the abuse I can throw at it.- The clip has an extra bit of plastic that is like a hook on it. This makes putting the clip on something simple and prevents the lanyard from easily coming off when you take the clip off your belt.- the strap is adjustable and the lock for adjusting the strap is easy to use even with thick gloves on.- no discernible added weight without the lanyard.- the leather does not seem to increase the heat of the phone and does not prevent my otterbox defender from closing the rubber cover for the USB-c port.- does not get in the way of using the phone in any way including wireless charging.I am incredibly thankful that I found this simple yet brilliant strap. I will update this posting after a few months go by or sooner if it breaks!

Are you taking pictures often with your phone? You need this strap!
Who would have thought that a camera strap could be created for a smart phone as well as this one was? For those of you who keep your phone in a case, which I think is the majority of phone users, this strap fits in nearly seamlessly and offers a very convenient wrist strap just like you had on your small digital camera back in the day. Yes, my phone camera is so good that I am using it more and more for photography, and am leaving my compact digital camera at home. The thing that attracted me to this strap was, I met a girl who had one on her phone. And she had her Olympus digital camera in her hand and her iPhone hanging by the wrist strap. At first I thought it was weird, then I thought more about it and realized how cool it was. Without the strap, I'm constantly putting my phone in my pocket and then taking it out when I want to take a photo. Even with the case, I don't normally carry my phone around in my hand for fear of dropping it. Now I can have my Nikon DSLR as my primary camera in my hand, and my phone on the wrist strap ready to go. I take a lot of videos with my phone, and I can shoot a lot faster now with it on the strap instead of in my pocket. A win-win situation. The strap is high quality and feels secure and I've never had a moment of doubt. For the price of this strap, it's a real no-brainer if you're an avid photographer with your phone!Black Rapid is a local Seattle company founded by a local pro photographer here. Prior to purchasing this strap for my phone, I've been using a Black Rapid Curve strap for my big Nikon DSLR camera with its heavy 24-70mm 2.8 zoom lens. The Curve is great because rather than the weight of the camera and lens combo hanging from my neck all day, it hangs from my shoulder and the strap attaches to the camera via the tripod socket, which also makes it easy to remove if I need to use the strap with a different camera. Much more comfortable and the camera is ready at my side whenever I need to shoot!
