Very nice holder for pens. Looks expensive - nice weight!

The marble cup is well made with attention to details.The outside and 2/3 of the inside are polished. The bottom is mat finish and smooth.The non-slip mat, thin layer of foam, is nice looking but not practical. I stick a felt pad under the cup so it can easily moved around the desk.

The pictures didn't do it well. I love the color and weight of this pen holder. I didn't expect it to be so heavy.

I really like the unique marble pattern that this holder has. It looks quite good on my desk and has the heft of real marble. It listed as a pen or pencil holder but it could be used for holding many different things like brushes or small tools.What I didn't care for was the bottom of the holder. It's smooth with nothing on the bottom to prevent it from sliding around or possible scratching something. They give you a blueish doily that has a rubber feel I suppose to set the holder on but the blueish looks terrible with the black and white marble because it just doesn't fit in.Overall, a nice looking marble holder that goes with just about anything. The heft, weight, and unique marble pattern of the holder is a nice addition to my desk.

An attractive, hefty pen/pencil holder that instantly makes my desk looks a lot classier than the old glass mustard jar I used before... The marble looks nice, and it's heavy enough that you can put a lot of pens/pencils/styli/etc into it without worrying about it tipping over.One caution: it is pretty heavy, and it's marble, so if you have a glass desktop, then maybe you might need to be a little careful putting it down on the glass. Any heavy pen holder (or other kind of stone paperweight) is going to have the same issue, of course.This product comes in three different colors; I got the black one. I assume that the others are similar, but the black color might make the one minor complaint I have stand out more: although the entire outside of the pencil holder is nicely polished, the inside is only polished about an inch below the lip, so if you look down into it, the surface color and texture are different. (you can see this if you look carefully at the photo on the product page) I have another marble pencil holder that is polished most of the way down to the bottom of the inside, and the effect is a little nicer. Admittedly, however, once I fill this with pens and pencils it's unlikely that anyone will notice it.

I was looking for a nice way to display pens in my office so people would have access to they as needed. This pen holder is absolutely beautiful. It just screams executive. Has nice color with a nice smooth surface to it. Looks very professional. Has a nice heavy weight to it which helps it stay put on my desk. So glad to have it! Order one today. Ordered twice, both times they were broken. Terrible.
