A very pretty ornamental piece to add to furniture. I got it to put on my bathroom vanity I am re-doing. It will end up gold leafed for extra glam, but a lot of that will come from the elaborate design and nice, crisp lines. Very happy to have this!

Redid a family antique secretary and was looking for something to put on the door. This worked great for my needs.

This was a very pretty medallion but did not suit my project.

I ordered several wood appliqués from this company because I wanted one that looked like it fit the shape of the top of this antique headboard I purchased on Facebook marketplace. This bed was pretty beat up, so I decided to refinish it. I’m inexperienced in refinishing furniture, but I’m very happy with the final result.The top of the headboard originally had a painted design which I could not preserve in the refinishing process, and I wasn’t confident I could recreate successfully. When I finally saw this appliqué, I thought the shape looked like it might follow lines of the design more than any I previously ordered, but I knew I would have to carefully cut it with wood tools to fit it to the bottom shape. I majored in art and design and I had some wood carving tools from a printmaking class that I used to make the cuts. Thankfully, I didn’t ruin the appliqué, and I was able to fit it to the shape. I also carved some the pieces I cut off to fill in smaller areas of the top of the headboard. Then I stained the wood pieces with the same walnut stain I used for the rest of the bed, sealed it with polyurethane and used wood glue to stick it in place on the headboard. I’m very happy I finally found the right shape of an appliqué that worked well for this piece of furniture that I bought for $20 on Facebook marketplace.

The wood accents are sooo beautiful! They can be used for so many different things! I think they are absolutely a must for decor!

These are really pretty but they are VERY tricky to apply. They Crete perfectly flat when they arrived, but once I applied liquid nails amd adhered to the surface, they began to bow and wouldn’t lay flat. I did finally get them to work, but it took applying clamps and stacks of heavy books while it dried. I would HIGHLY recommend having plenty of appropriately sized clamps on hand to keep these firmly secured while they dry because the adhesive seems to soak into the wood and make them bend out of shape a bit. Having said that, once they are on they’re really pretty. I applied them to the sides and drawers of a cabinet I refinished and the end result is really pretty, even if I had difficulty applying them. Also, they do have some snaggy rough areas because of their shape, so if you’re planning to use any sort of antiquing wax or to age them, make sure to use a lint free cloth for wiping because otherwise a regular cloth gets all kinds of fibers stuck in the rough bits of these appliqués. Overall, would recommend, just more challenging for us novice crafters, lol.
