It’s not like the pictures. It’s better and darker.
The jacket (Cougar) initially looked lighter in the picture, which made me a bit hesitant. But after checking the color directly on the Levi’s website, I realized it was the exact shade I was looking for. It’s not too light but has a rich, brownish tone that looks even better in person. The color complements just about any outfit and adds a nice rugged vibe. Beyond the color, the feel of the jacket is exceptional—it’s comfortable, well-made, and has that classic Levi’s quality. The fit is spot-on and offers just the right amount of room for layering without feeling bulky. This jacket exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend it for anyone considering a classic, versatile, and stylish outer layer!

Just My Size and Style With Bonuses
I was a little apprehensive going this route thinking it might be a stiff and bulky winter weight jacket but as it turns out it's a layer above an unlined denim jacket so it's great for layering with hoodies on super cold days and still a go to on days in the 40s and 50s without any cold weather gear underneath . It fit my portly (yeah that's a good word for it ) nicely , is plenty roomy in the shoulders and chest (51"chest and broad upper shoulders ) and left room for my 14" biceps without being baggy but loose enough for a sweatshirt inside . The sleeves were surprisingly not too long so someone taller than 5'10" may find the sleeves a smidge short . Speaking of short it falls just below my belt line , pretty much like where a bomber jacket sits instead of the illustration showing it well above the belt line .2 outside upper pockets and 2 lower pockets that are in the typical Levi's perfect spot for hand warming and a surprise inner left chest pocket .Another pleasant surprise is the button up look BUT snaps instead . My 61 year old fingers really appreciate that on a cold morning .I wanted black and it's definitely accurate in the color , both inside and out . I could get away with wearing this with semi formal situations .As I said before the thickness of both the denim and Sherpa are excellent for chilly weather .The quality is closer to the Levi's I remember from long ago than what I've seen at Walmart recently .I've debated getting one of this style of jacket for over a decade . Glad I finally tapped the buy icon .

Very nice, "almost" too short in the sleeves with arms raised, but not too bad.
I'm 6'3 tall and 180 lbs. I ordered a large tall size, and while the jacket fits perfectly at rest with my arms down, the sleeves ride up a few inches when I raise my arms. This isn't a big enough negative for me to send it back because the jacket is super nice and very warm. As long as I'm not holding my arms above my head all the time I doesn't bother me at all. I've wanted another one like this for years, so when they came up on sale for $66 during Amazon Prime Days, I couldn't pass it up. It is a genuine Levi's jacket, and as far as I can tell it doesn't have any imperfections anywhere. Though Levi's quality isn't what it used to be when I was younger, it's still better quality than many other brands in this price range. But I don't believe I would pay the full price of $108 that's on the tag for it, it's well worth the price I got it for.

Great jacket!
Ok, so, for starters I'm a woman, ha. I really loved the style of this jacket but I was worried, based on reviews, that the women's version would be a bit too cropped on me, so I thought I would try the men's. I'm tall and thin - 5'9" 143 pounds. I bought this jacket in a size Medium, which is the size that I would normally fit into in men's clothing. It fits perfectly on me, and falls right where I wanted it to - right about hip length. The sleeves go a little past my wrists, which kinda surprised me because I do have pretty long arms. However, I prefer my sleeves to be a bit longer so I'm happy about that. The upper arms are pretty roomy, though, because obviously this is made for men and I have virtually no upper body musculature, lol. I can see how these jackets might run a tad small for men because even with the little bit of extra room for me to move around in, it's still a very fitted jacket overall.I can layer thicker long sleeve shirts and thin sweatshirts underneath of it and still am able to button it up. But nothing too bulky. This jacket is surprisingly warm, though, thanks to the sherpa lining. The sleeves have a quilted polyamide/polyester lining - certainly not as warm as the body but still pretty decent. I really like the hidden pocket on the inside of the jacket - it's a good size for your phone or wallet. My only complaints, I guess, would be that I wish the front pockets had a sherpa lining as well to keep your hands warm. I'm also not a fan of the snap closure buttons. The color that I ordered - Mustard Blue Denim - is really nice in person and pairs well with darker jeans.Anyway, I think this is a great, warm, handsome jacket that would be well worth buying if you can figure out which size works best for you. I would suggest going with the size you would normally wear in jackets, and if that doesn't fit then try going up a size. Also, consult the size chart on the levi's website as it does seem to be fairly accurate, at least for the size that I bought.
