CHI Touch 2 - Touch Screen Hair Dryer

after one too many botched blowdrys with some cheap drugstore dryer that left my hair somehow damp and crispy at the same time, i spent a whole day researching options for an upgrade. seems the $500+ dyson is the best on the market, but this tends to come in at a close second at a fraction of the cost, so i sprung for it and could not be happier. the concentrator nozzle is nice and slim (i.e. can actually CONCENTRATE the flow of air properly) and the diffuser is a much better shape than others i've tried - this one is more flat with the "teeth" sticking out of it, versus others which are sort of bowl-shaped. plenty of control over heat and air flow to fully customize your hair drying experience based on your hair's needs, and the ionization really does make a difference in drying time. on medium-low heat and air power with the ionization cranked all the way up and the diffuser attached, i can dry my thick, curly, almost-shoulder-length hair inside of fifteen minutes where before it would be an hour-long ordeal and my hair would still be sorta damp at the end of it. it's a whole new world for me coming from the aforementioned cheap drugstore crap. i love this thing!

I bought this dryer because my hairdresser uses it in her shop, so I knew what a fantastic tool it was. The variable adjustment for heat and speed is quite good. Your hair dries nicely without feeling like it’s been burned. I liked it so much I bought one for my daughter. It is well worth the price.

I had an old version for over 12 years. It was used every day in my salon. I loved that version and was sad when I couldn't find it anywhere. This newer version is fantastic as well and I hope it lasts as long! It is quite a bit lighter than my old chi dryer so that makes it really nice! The only thing I found that I wasn't crazy about was the temperature of the hot setting. It's not as hot as my old dryer and it seems that it takes a while to heat up to its hottest temp. I still really like it and am glad I purchased this.

totally obsessed with this blowdryer - I used it in a hotel room last year and when mine finally died (other brand) I jumped at the opportunity to get this one. I said that if I hated it Id splurge on the Dyson but really no need to this is everything and so much fun with the touch screen

I bought two of these for my wife, and they both failed. The first was bought with cash and I didn't keep the receipt, so I couldn't get warranty coverage, and I tried by calling them. It went completely dead inside of 4 months, meaning it wouldn't turn on or light up...just dead. I then bought a second on here, and that one lasted about a year, just out of warranty, and it stopped getting hot. It was great while it worked, but for this price point, it should last longer...especially when cheap ones run forever. 3rd time around, I got her a Dyson

Nice blow dryer drys hair quickly

Very happy! I'm a hairstylist and I have the same dryer but the first generation. But since it's 8 years old, I decided I needed a back up one. I ordered this one and it's better than the original. It's lighter and quieter. Also very well balanced whether my hand is on the handle or on the nozzle to dry my client's hair. Plus love the touch screen. I love this dryer!

Good and light. An old style chi i used to have was better, this one is too fancy and i’m affarid it’ll break sooner. It doesn’t give me much confidence that it’s high quality. I’ve used it only once so far. Hope it’ll last, but for the one time it did a good job. It is on the noisy side

I received a used Conair blow dryer in the box of the Chi Touch blow dryer. This product is so not as advertised. Save yourself the grief and don’t purchase this.
