Amazing little piece of technology to get my kids playing with robots.
I bought this to experiment with my kids. We started assembling it immediately and it give several hours of good assembly time trying to figure everything out. My preteen kids loved it and we had a blast. Once up and assembled there are tons of different ways to control it. There is a phone app, computer web interface and you can control with code. Highly recommend!

Doesn’t work
It didn’t work. I spent several hours to follow all the instructions and was excited to start it but it doesn’t boot up.

Robot Works
Product was missing the distance sensor, which is listed in the description as well as the servo which is pictured on the first image. I've contacted Amazon about fixing these, which they haven't done yet. I would just order straight from Dexter Industries to ensure things are done correctly.

Good idea, but poor execution.
Some parts, like the base unit, could have been pre-assembled. After ~2 hours of careful assembly, when it didn't work, it was very frustrating. They have a nice step-by-step instruction tutorial online, but it goes downhill, and becomes in some cases obsolete after the "connect" step. They seem to be stuck with older Raspberry Pi editions.Returned. I'm going for iRobot i create 2 unit instead. Let's see.
