It works with original PC Engine console from Japan. Tested my own unit seems to function without any adverse effects from an hour's worth of play freshly hooked up as soon as I retrieved from my post box. Its my full time console power pack now keeping the games going on the old hardware.Full disclosure I already had an adapter for the PC Engine but that one works well with some desktop speakers that refused to stop humming no matter which power pack I used with same rating except the one that I had on my PC Engine but those were out of stock so I gave this pack a try on the console so thus freed up the other unit to keep with the speakers which sound so clean now.Zero complaints at all

I have been feeling nostalgic lately and wanted to use my PAL PS One that I brought back from Europe. I needed a power supply that would work in the U.S. and rather than using a voltage converter, I opted for this aftermarket power supply. It looks exactly like the original adapter and powers up my PS One without a hitch. An added bonus is that it's multi-volt capable (110-220V). Overall, it's exactly as expected and I highly recommended it for the quality and price. Thanks for allowing me to relive my childhood video games!

Great quality

I ordered a different one before this one, but I didn't like how it stuck out of the port, so it was loose and would stop charging when I moved it slightly. This one, on the other hand, fits into the port good and has a little bit of wiggle room still but no nearly as bad as the other version. It also might be because my console was used and maybe wasn't cared for as well as it should've been. ANYWAYS, good charge, does what I expect it to, and charges quickly. Would be nice if there was a version with a longer cord but that's ok, not necessary.TLDR: giving 4 stars because it does what it needs to do BUT could be a little tighter fit into the port and more stable. Also would be nice to have a longer cord.

Works great

The charger I’ve been using since I was a kid has stopped working. I was worried that even though I managed to mod my 3DS, it would’ve been all for nothing if I can’t find a good adapter to replace the old one and continue to power my old friend. Luckily, these bad boys are still being sold. This one in particular works like a charm, and I can continue to play to my heart’s content with my modded 3DS. Excellent product.

The charger works which is great even better is it comes with the extra pens because they are easy to lose so it’s really like a nice 2 for 1 price. Also shoutout to this seller because finding this exact charger for the Nintendo DSL is very difficult I went to GameStop and a consignment gaming store that had zero Nintendo DSL accessories. This was a great find definitely recommend.
