The first one I received had a tear at the side pocket but the company sent me a new one out right away even before I sent the other one back. Great service. Great bag! Everything I need fits plus more and I can use it for everything.Update: I’ve had this bag for a month and I love it. Hate to say it but the quality is not the greatest. Both side pockets have torn allot. I could understand if i carried heavy things but I don’t carry anything in them besides maybe a pack of gum. Truly disappointed that in such a short amount of time this has happened.

I purchased this bag mainly for travel...just trudging thru airports without lugging a big purse. I was delighted when I received it. It a very nice looking bag. Unfortunately it didn’t make it through one trip before the snap came off the front flap. Before writing a poor review I wanted to contact the seller to give them the opportunity to make it right. Rather than offering to replace the backpack as they should have with a product failure after one use, they offered to send me a snap so that I could repair it myself. Finally today after two weeks I received a snap. I have, I think, put it on properly but I honestly don’t have the confidence in it staying that I should.

I used my new backpack this weekend and was very surprised and pleased at the volume this bag could hold. The zippers are all in the right place! I originally purchased this as an approved carry-on for air travel, but now it'll be my go-to bag for running errands.My one disappointment, and it's a pretty big one, are the two magnetic snaps. They are in highly used sections of the bag and are already trying to come out of the canvas fabric. Even tho the magnets are strong, the little "prongs" under the canvas that are holding the snaps on, are already bending making the snaps loose. I expect them to come undone within the next few uses. I'm trying to figure out a way to sew them in place, or find a stronger replacement. Very cheap for the quality of this backpack.

This bag is really cute, spacious and seems durable. I bought this for outings when we aren't bringing the stroller or larger diaper bag. Im really turned off by the smell!! It REEKS like black licorice, instant headache! Even after airing it out, washing, airing out again. I was excited to use it, but the smell is so strong that I can't yet.I do like the pockets on the side for water bottles and the flap pocket in front. I do wish the pockets inside were larger to hold my sunglass case or wallet. Because the bag is so deep, it takes a while to dig out what you need. Would be great with my pockets to organize the smaller things or for easier access. The laptop zipper is a great feature, however it opens up into the main bag! Would have been great to add an extra layer of lining to separate.(in my bag) there was a white "spill" like stain inside. After washing, it's still there. There is a good possibility I may need to return this based on smell and stain. Bummer since it's cute!

It is difficult to judge the quality of an item online sometimes. Pictures sometimes don't convey the heft of an item. This backpack has a lot of details that you might miss. One it looks really nice. Very premium. The fabric is heavy duty (but doesn't look technical) and the red color has a little orange to it which makes it more interesting than just plain red (my wife's words). The handle is leather and reinforced with nylon. I feel like it can be tugged and pulled quite a bit without tearing. The zipper is metal not cheap plastic and also feels heavy duty. The size is good too. It is comfortable for my 5'4" wife and it doesn't overwhelm her but it seems to have tons of storage too. Besides her ipad, it holds the kids kindles, coloring books, a small pharmacy, markers, and a slew of fidget gadgets. I think her wallet and more normal "purse" items are also in there. She likes it because it's both functional and good looking.

This is the perfect backbag and it fits my needs. Prior to this I used a purse but it became heavy and it caused pain to my right shoulder. My purse didn't have a lot of space and my lunch and/or umbrella would not fit in comfortably. I was looking for a backbag that would fit everything but that was not too big or bulky..this backbag is it! it is super cute, I've gotten many compliments! The backbag's bottom is constructed so that it could stand upright, which is perfect because my food containers can be upright and I can stand the backbag when I need to look for things. The two sidep pockets fit my umbrella and/or waterbottles. When I first was looking at this backbag,I was hesitant because it look small but it is the PERFECT size! I have recommended this bookbag to others. I rarely review items but this product is awesome, I just had to review it. If you are on the fence, don't be!! You wont regret it!

This is a mixed review. It’s stylish enough that my wife uses it even when wearing a dress, and it’s neutral enough that I don’t mind carrying it. The zippers are very strong. The fabric is durable. The back is padded just enough, and the reinforced bottom means the bag usually stays upright. And it’s very comfortable to carry. We haven’t had any problems with the straps. But the snap broke off within the first month of use. The snap was a futile design anyways — if the bag or pocket are full, it’s hard to snap it. Not that we like that pocket anyways, because of you leave it unzipped and flip the top over, everything comes out. And we too have had the same problem with the side pocket tearing off. Unfortunately the pocket tore just after the 90-day warranty expired. The issue with the side pockets is that they’re not gusseted — they’re cut to the same size as the side panel width. So if the bag is full, the pocket doesn’t have any flexibility, and the seam isn’t reinforced. Also, this will barely zip with a 15” MacBook when empty, and it doesn’t zip if you’re packing anything else with the laptop too. I don’t trust that the back straps are strong enough to hold up over time, but so far they’ve been great and comfortable. Not sure that we’d buy it again until those features are redesigned, but because it’s exactly the same dimensions as a free personal item for European flights, it did pay for itself instead of paying for a carry-on bag.
