My kids love this net. We Live in a private community with a private lake and my kids love To use this net to catch fish and frogs and any other kind of wildlife around the lake. The handle is very durable and very lightweight and easy to use for little kids. I also love that it is colorful and has an adjustable handle for harder to reach spots.

I got these for my son to take my grandson crawfishing. They are sturdy and nice to have because the fold up. They loved them.

This is a good net for trout, small bass & similar smaller fish. It has a black rubberized grip & silver aluminum handle.The handle is solidly affixed to the net by a well constructed metal piece that holds the latching mechanism, described below.A triangular frame supports the net. Two sides of the frame are unbendable metal, but the outter side of the frame is a flexible rubberized tube. This "tube" adequately supports the open net, but it bends when the net is folded in closed position, for compactness.The net itself is thin, black nylon material that is sufficiently wide & deep for your small catch. Be careful not to rip it.This product folds in half using a well made mechanical metal latch on the back of the neck between the handle & net. Use your thumb to pull down & the net promptly folds in half. Pull the net up to open & the latch automatically locks. Easy. The metal latch is solidly made.Contrary to the advertisement, this net...or the handle, is not "telescopic." The handle does not extend or shorten. Its one length. That's ok.Overall, this is a good, simple, functional, compact & inexpensive fishing net for small game. Glad I bought it for catching trout in the Eastern Sierras.

Absolute trash. The handle broke on the 2nd ever use after bending on the 1st use. The net can't handle a 2lb fish.

The width is maybe just over 12 inches wide in the front and 9 inches from the handle to the end. The front straight part is a rubber tube (needed for folding). The handle is maybe 12 inches long. It should be good for a 4 pound and under fish. Do you really need a net for a fish under 4 pounds? Sometimes.Seems like sturdy construction other than the butterfly netting. The net may be OK. It just seems too light weight. 3 stars is adequate.

This fishing net was just what I was looking for. It is nice and compact. Plus it’s easy to use and hold when fishing. Fingers crossed it helps me catch more fish!

This is a great little net. Caught a bunch of bugs and tadpoles. The boy had a ball!!! Easy to fold up and dries quickly!
