Does not fit 135i.
Nice product, good quality. However, it DOES NOT fit the 135i. RETURNED.

Perfect fit
Does the job and holds my Thermos coffee mugs perfectly. For some reason, BMWs don’t have any cup holders or room for extra drinks, My Chevy truck has 7 built-in cup holders that is awesome cause I usually have both cold and hot drinks. The X1 only has 1 cup holder in the middle consol. This made it easier to have at least 2 drinks in the car. The door does have a place for a water bottle but not a mug of coffee because it’s at an angle and the liquid would just pour out. Plastic is solid and so far, so good.

I might be asking too much but….
Some install directions would have been nice. Good product, but I had to wing it on the install.

Sturdy and stable
This is a well made cup holder that is sturdy and holds the cup firmly and stable, accommodating most of the cups I normally use.

Crooked/leaning
The cupholder fit down in the car but it leaned so bad. If I were to sit my cup in it I would have a spill.

Perfect Fit For OEM Base
Have Owned a 2008 BMW 135i for 6 years that came with the base but no cup holder. Perfect fit for OEM base. Attractive and stable.
