Good product but details said that "cross base" was included. No it isn't and the instruction booklet states that it's an optional extra. I now have to get one made which I find totally unacceptable.

Not all garden umbrella’s are created equal I found that out to my cost when I bought one that looked good and was pretty cheap on the internet. Sure it was fine for a year, and then the poor quality plastic started to crack and a then it got hit by some heavy wind and the game was up! Impossible to get either any support or spares. Fast forward to this summer and I shell out what seemed at first too much money for a PurpleLeaf large garden umbrella.By was I wrong! Whole different ball game. Looks similar to the first one but the materials, build quality and mechanics are in a different league. So was their technical support too, when I needed it. Worth every penny.No, I’m not related to their CEO or getting a second free umbrella ( as far as I know ) and I rarely ever write reviews, but in this instance felt I was doing other buyers like me a big favour.Stay dry, or shadyRichard Loncraine
