All you really need to know is that it is a Uncle Henry. As far back as I can remember the men in my family have treasured their Uncle Henry pocket knives. I still own my grandfather's and my father's Uncle Henry pocket knives. These are knives that their fathers gave to them on their tenth birthday. It's been a tradition in my family for generations and I gave both of my sons their first pocket knife when they turned ten years old. So, when I decided that I would like to try my hand at wood carving, the decision to buy this Uncle Henry carving set was a no-brainer. Every blade is razor sharp and ready to go to work out of the box. The handle is very comfortable. And the set comes in a really nice, well built case that will protect it for years to come. You will not be disappointed when you get this carving set for yourself. I highly recommend it!

Comes in a nice case. Set has wooden handle that allows the blades to be changed according to the carving job needed. To my frustration, the blades are not very sharp. If you have a sharpening kit and the time to sharpen the blades then maybe this kit is for you.

The blades were dull, only roughly ground; all needed re-grinding to set the bevel, and several had to be re-shaped to fit into the handle collet. All blades had to be sharpened and honed, and they did not appear to be high carbon stainless steel...more like ordinary carbon steel.The handle was satisfactory, and the collet operated smoothly.

This product is great. You actually get what is in the product description. Sturdy blades, nice handle. So far I’m very pleased. Hopefully it will stand up to lots of use.

When I got this carving set I was never so disappointed. The blades were duller than a butter knife and the larger blades wouldn't fit in the collet. Waste of money.

First blade out of the box won’t fit into the handle…second blade had a misshaped tip, not properly ground.Any so far I’ve tried were dull by comparison to my other knives.. Fortunately I have grinding, polishing and sharpening tools and skills. For 20 bucks I’ll fix them, but I’m getting tired of the imported junk advertised as high quality product. Blades are thick and not well suited to thin cuts and detail.Changed my mind and returned them before I modified any of the blades.

Good set for beginners, easy to change blades, seems to be sturdy. I have used themonly a couple times.

Very good carving tools.I use them for carving soapstone.No issues and they stay sharp
