Fun build
This kit is not for beginners. Losts of small aggravating parts and bends. However, still fun to build and looks great complete.

You have to be careful with this one
I have built a few kits of the Metal Earth Models and they are fun to build and usually straightforward. This one requires more patience and care and you need a good set of tools to work with it. The final product is nice.

Very Accurate
I love the Monitor/Merrimack battle due to the advances made by both ships, the models are very accurate.

waste of money.
While the completed model on the image looks good in reality the metal is of very poor quality which seems to warp. The directions are acceptable but not great. extra tools are required and its just not worth the effort.

You always feel challenged - Not for those who give up easily
Done a number of these metal models and always like the finished product. Feel a sense of accomplishment from doing these models and actually amazed that at 82 years old I still have the dexterity these models require. Feel free to innovate if you can't quite follow the instructions to a tee. The results may be surprisingly good anyway.
