HKYRD Powkiddy V90 Handheld Game Console Foldable with Built-in 6000 Games (Black)

I ordered a black model and waited a very long time (with no tracking information that would work). It finally showed up today. They sent me the red model. I said "ok, whatever, still excited to play".Tried turning it on. LED lit up but no graphics. Watched a few unboxing/setup videos that all pointed out the SD card that they had installed. Did not exist on mine. I triple checked the package. No SD card.I'm excited to play, but I'm extremely disappointed in the seller. I will probably never buy from them again.

This device emulates pretty well. The speaker is horrible but that’s okay for something like this. The screen is average too but this thing is 40 bucks. So not much to complain about. I like it fits in my pocket. It’s light and runs on old Nokia batteries. Those are cheap to replace if you need to. I like the flip part but there is a screen protector on the screen and you have to disassemble the bezel to remove the stock protector. Mine had lots of bubbles in it. You don’t much need a protector for a clamshell design. I like it. It’s great for passing a few minutes in a doctors office or auto shop.

Myself along with several other people never got their item even though the tracking shows it was delivered. Had they come I do know that the powkiddy v90 is a great device and you can put custom firmware on it to make it even better. Unless you pay the regular price for one you won’t ever get it.

This product exceeded expectations, so much so that I purchased another one when it was on sale. I may give it to my dad.Pros:Loading games is easy; just put the memory card in your computer, take your game files, and transfer them to the card. It even plays homemade games if they're in the right format, and playing something you coded yourself on a handheld player is really satisfying.It's easy to handle. It reminds me of a GameBoy Advance, as far as the controls.The battery life is also decent. I can play for about four hours on one charge, I think. I haven't really timed it, but I don't have to keep it hooked to a charger and I could probably play it on the go if I wanted to, but I don't go on many long trips.Cons:The firmware will probably need updating out of the box. Some of the more advanced games run slow on the original firmware.Comes with a lot of pre-loaded games. (Depending on what you want to use it for, you might consider this a plus, and removing the games from the card isn't really that difficult, but for those who want to load their own games and are bothered by the fact that the card comes pre-loaded, you might want to keep that in mind. Otherwise, though, no drawbacks.)

This is not a legitamite listing. This price is too good to be true. Don't think "oh may as well, it's less than 15$" because I am telling you now it is a waste of your hard earned money. I have found others on reddit saying the same thing. Spend your money on something worth it.

Upon receiving the item and trying it for the first time I noticed the screen flickering alot, soon a black dot appeared and after pressing a couple buttons completely blacked out screen, no sound, and could not turn back on. Will try to contact seller and hopefully get a working one.

Worked great for about an hour then the screen slowly faded and it shut off, never to turn on again.yes I tried charging it. No I didn't do the thing it warns you about that bricks it. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!

I highly recommend the V90, great form factor is you love the SP. this runs GBA games the best but emulates a lot of different consoles such as GG, FC, GB, plus a few more and even runs some homebrew games too. I’ve had it for a few weeks and I’m pretty confident I’ll never play all the games. My only problem with this device is the power switch. Since it’s not flush with the device sometimes the device can turn on without you knowing and absolutely drain the battery. Same could happen with the volume button which isn’t nearly as much as a problem. Although I haven’t used many other handheld emulates I couldn’t see myself really needing to replace my v90. I recommend this for anyone who is looking to play through GBA games and doesn’t mind emulating. The buttons on the console are fairly cheap but personally I love the way they feel for a 50 dollar device and I feel they add to the whole experience.
