Its not a leak proof container.
I ordered this container for preserving home made Ghee but this product is not leak proof and not happy with the product though I didn't return it just to avoid my extra exercise to book a return n all as I was very busy...

worth buying..I have been looking for something in steel with handles....the only one drawback for me is the lid is very loose..may be the manufacturer can make it bit tight..otherwise 😊
