Dexter - New Blood - this Blu-ray release comes with a nice slipcover. The inside of the case has a picture & a list of episodes that are also present on the Blu-ray Discs. This release matches up perfectly to the other Blu-ray releases of Dexter the original series. The picture quality is exceptional and has quality special features also.

I bought this DVD after watching Dexter on Netflix ( great) and I wanted to see how Dexter ended. It’s different. On Netflix Dexter is in the police and it all takes place in the sunshine of California, aka. Miami. The DVD takes place in the dull snowy weather of northern US. Dexter, with more menial jobs, this time serving in a store, continues his killing, meets his son, Harrison, so it continues more or less as before, except Dexter’s Indian girlfriend, (feather not dot) who works in law enforcement starts noticing strange things about Dexter. The ending is I suppose the only viable ending for a serial killer.

Don't waste your money on the Blu-ray set as the way the series has been filmed is quite poor. Some idiot has decided that in order to create 'atmosphere' it would be a good idea to put some sort of filter on the lens. The effect is to create a 'washed out' picture which is akin to watching through a piece of gauze, so save a few quid and buy the DVD set instead - the picture quality will be no worse than it is on the Blu-ray.

Fantastic series, great production value with a cinematic feel while still having that classic Dexter comedic edge. A great looking Blu-Ray too. This is everything I could've hoped for. Wasn't sure this would get a UK release, let alone a steelbook.Some nice special features and a highlight steelbook in my collection. If you told me a few years ago I'd ever have this in my hands I wouldn't have believed you. Excellent, worth the money.

I think most viewers were disappointed by the original series. This gives more Dexter and a better ending.

l started playing blu ray of this series on my Sony A80J and the picture quality is fantastic
