I have a class a rv with these tiny cabinets over the driver and passenger seats. These fit perfectly and keep the cabinet doors from slamming shut on my head. Love them. Wish they came in sets of three bc I had to order 4 for three cabinet doors.

Perfect fit for putting an old safe back in service. I believe the newer models are the same but check your current pressure rating and length first. Very easy install less than 5min (including taking a picture), unclip the retainer on the lid side then be careful pulling the strut aside from the ball as it may still have pressure in it. Unscrew from the bottom fitting gripping the rod not the larger tube. Transfer or replace the spring, screw the rod to original bottom fitting, compress the strut to line up with the lid ball, give it a slap and done. Bonus: you also have a spare for other safes or friend.UPDATE: Worked great after install. After about a week I opened the safe to change the battery, no problem. When I closed the lid, I could hear the faint hiss of pressure escaping. Opened again a few times and each time it was closed the leak returned until the lid wouldn't lift any more. The strut was already dead with less pressure then the original decade plus one. Put the spare in and waiting see what kind of performance I get this time.

The product was used to replace an identical gas cylinder on a quick opening sentry safe. It works better than the original, and fit perfectly, identical to the 50n cylinder that was replaced. Very happy with the product and looks like it will last for a while, plus, they have a 5 year warranty, which I thought was very telling of the quality, as the original part only lasted about 3 years.!

Good cylinders wrong ap myself

Needed for my Sentry gun safe to replace the OEM piece that failed. Works perfect. A little tight - had to compress about 1/16” to get the set screw to align but that’s all.

Las tengo instaladas en un mueble de la cocina y se sienten bien, el movimiento suave aunque deben tener cuidado en el ultimo tramo de cierre pues lo hacen muy rápido y dan un ligero golpecito, deben usar unos pequeños amortiguadores de felpa. Mantiene firme la puerta a pesar de que en mi caso es pesada. Recomendable. Buen precio.

Super frustrated that the measurements are wrong. You're supposed to measure from the center point of each hole but these are clearly measured as just the full length. Which means center point to center point they're barely 7.5". These were supposed to be just long enough if measured correctly. So they're going back in the mail.
