DEVMOUSB Isolator Module ADUM3160 USB Digital Isolation Board Protection (5KV ESD MAX) with OC Protection

10/10Fantastic. I really had no hopes for this product because it looked so simple. But it really does eliminate static/em interference that may bleed through the USB.For some explanation. For the past 4 years I've been playing/making music out of a gaming laptop, from there I sent signal into a external DAC (SMSL SU-8), from the DAC I sent it to a pre-amp, from the pre-amp to some bookshelf monitor speakers. This had worked fantastically until last week. I had just finished building a high end pc (9700x, 9070xt, Tuff B650m MB.) From the very first time that I plugged in the DAC usb into the motherboard, I could hear some nasty static that was insanely tied to the GPU's performance. It was to the point that whenever id play a game, I could hear a pitch/frequency change depending on wether I zoomed in or out on the game's camera. It got sickning and tiring very quickly though.Thankfully this simple USB was able to fix this issue, no more disgusting static or GPU feedback.It does suck that it has a very bright red LED. Nothing a bit of electrical tape can't fix tho

Hopefully this may help someone. I am using this for a special case. I modded my 1999 Ford expedition and 2007 Buick lacrosse to have 3.5mm aux in ports by tapping into the audio out of their cassette and cd decks respectively.They would work great when I was trying to just use a 3.5mm cable from my phone headphone jack into it but when I wanted to use a usb Bluetooth to 3.5mm adapter (one with no battery) it had an awful ground loop from the car cigarette to usb adapter. This isolation adapter paired with a 6 inch usb extension solved my issue. It stops the loop before the audio is generated by the Bluetooth adapter and allows for clean audio like as if I was just using the 3.5mm from my phone. And I can charge my phone without interference while using it. It's a niche product but it does the job with low power devices like mine. The only downside is that it has an awful red LED that is really bright when in use. I'm looking into ways that cover that up.

This unit did not work for me. I was trying to remove the noise that was in the USB connection between my computer and the Steinberg UR44 audio adapter. However, I found a solution. I purchased the iFi iDefender+ (USB-A to USB-A) - USB Ground Loop Noise Eliminator and it worked great. It cost $59 but was worth the cost since my audio is now super clean. If you purchase this unit make sure you connect 5v to it via the USB-C connector on the device. A standard phone charger with a USB-C charging connector will work fine.

Just got my first balanced headphone amp (Apos Gremlin driven by a Moondrop Dawn Pro) and it somehow creates a ground loop with my PC (both are plugged into the same UPS), resulting in a loud 50-60hz humming noise. This isolator completely eliminated the hum, and to my ears the sound quality is just as good.5/5 would recommend.

I bought this to clear up noise... it seems to do that, but it also injects a nasty 1K sine wave into my system. It's 90 dB down, but audible at moderate volume. Bummer.

Works exactly as expected and needed.

My Mac could not use this to make a connection to a Schiit Modius DAC. The DAC was not detected after many attempts to make it work. It worked fine with other devices like keyboard and mouse, but not for audio.

Removed the annoying high pitched noise from my kali studio monitors. It still has a very subtle hiss from the top tweeter but thats probably something to do with the main cables plugged into the outlets.
