Much more grippable than the small wireless Evoluent
I absolutely love this EV wireless mouse! Previously I purchased the $99 small Evoluent wireless mouse for work. I am a CAD drafter so I spend 8 hours a day on a computer and I developed carpal tunnel a few months ago. From all the reviews on Amazon it sounded like Evoluent was the go to mouse for heavy users. After using this vertical mouse for a few days, I started using my flat mouse on my home computer, I hated it and decided to replace it asap. I didn't want to throw down another $99 since I sparsely use my home computer. I thought about buying the new Anker mouse, but saw that it isn't compatible with OS X El Capitan. And that brought me to this EV wireless mouse. Sure, it costs more than Anker, but what was I to do. Now that I have it, I love it! My favorite thing about it is the feel in my hand. This mouse has a nice rounded shape to the body and the buttons, my fingers wrap around it, making it super grippable, which is super important. It's what the Evoluent and Anker mouses are missing, and that's huge in my book. Look at my photo of the EV next to the small Evoluent. I had a difficult time gripping and maneuvering that mouse. And I think the Anker mouse looks just the same, very flat, especially at the buttons. Needless to say, my Evoluent mouse is going back and I'm buying another EV wireless mouse for work! Do not hesitate to buy this one. ((UPDATE)) I'm not sure what other people are experiencing, but I have used this mouse for one full week (40 hours) without re-plugging it in once.

Fantastic ergonomics
Bottom line:This is the most comfortable mouse of my fleet of 6. Using it has significantly relieved musculoskeletal repetitive strain injuries (read: pain from cramped muscles) I had in the right hand, wrist, forearm, shoulder, upper back, and neck. My first mouse broke after 1 month. The case split open, but all the electronics still worked without issue, so for a week I used a mouse that was taped to hold together. DXT E-Sports, who I bought the mouse from, replaced the broken mouse without issue, and notified the factory to adjust the manufacturing process to prevent repeat breakage. I am using the new mouse to post this update now. Knowing the seller will make it right in case of issue, I would definitely recommend this mouse, and especially if you want to avoid/alleviate pain from repetitive-strain injuries caused by operating computers for long stretches at a time. Be sure to match the size of the mouse to the size of your hand.Update, less than a week after original review:First I tried to contact manufacturer by email through their website when my mouse broke 1 month after purchase. No response even 2 weeks later. Not Amazon's fault - this was a manufacturing issue. Then I post review below. Then seller proactively contacted me to try to resolve the issue. Seller rocks! DXT E-Sports replaced the broken mouse and notified the factory of the needed manufacturing adjustment. The key point is that regardless of issues I had with the first mouse, the seller stands 100% behind what they're selling, and I have a new working mouse that is more comfortable than any other I own. I'm happy. 5 stars.Original Review:Most comfortable mouse I own. Should be 5 stars for that. Also cheapest-made mouse I own. Should be 1 star for that. I’ll settle on average to net 3 stars for this mouse. (see update above, broken mouse got replaced promptly by seller)The really good part:My right hand, wrist, forearm, shoulder, upper back, and neck all feel noticeably better using this mouse for prolonged work sessions compared to less vertical of mice. It works better with a mousepad. Make sure the shiny dpi button behind the scrollwheel is clicked to the right sensitivity setting. Push the button, wave the mouse icon around, and repeat until you get to the balance between speed and control you like best. The really sad part:Case split open after 1 month of ownership. All the plastic joints holding it together sheared off. They’re pathetically puny. Had to tape my mouse back together as it is technically more than a month now and so not going to throw out most expensive mouse I own. It wasn’t the seller’s fault the case broke open, but it was the manufacturer’s fault for skimping on 3 cents worth of plastic per unit. Customer service from manufacturer by email is utterly nonexistent. Taped together, it still functions like it’s supposed to, but I will never buy from this company again if they think it acceptable to sell me such a fragile workhorse. (again, see update above, broken mouse got replaced promptly by seller - I have a new mouse now so no further issues with build quality. Using it now actually. If anything changes, an update will ensue. Great customer services definitely makes a big difference.)

Relieves Hand Tension and Pain
Excellent! Constantly on the computer for audio and video editing... lots of click-hold-drag operations, the kind that really fry your fingers and wrist. I also use a Wacom Tablet for Photoshop, but you can't really do A/V editing with a pen, so must have a comfortable, fatigue free mouse.Lately I got tendonitis between my ring and pinky fingers from trying to squeeze and maneuver my old Logitech mouse. This EV mouse (Regular SIze) supports my whole hand, all fingers rest on the curves. Grip and mouse buttons are natural and very easy to press. Gets the job done... Pain free. I also got the Anker Ergonomic mouse, which is 1/4 the price but not as comfortable (though still more comfortable than my old mouse). The EV mouse is the clear winner.

massive disappointment
It has been a massive disappointment. The surface is so slick, I have a very hard time holding onto it. The right mouse button is so big, I keep hitting it when I try to move it or pick it up to move to the right or left more. It tracks slowly, so I have to pick it up 3-4 times to get from my right screen to my left screen or the opposite. Lastly, when it goes inactive, it requires clicking a button to start up again and yet still reads the mouse click, so I wind up doing actions I don't want to do, like minimizing my Outlook window, when I come back to my computer. With all that, it still didn't help my wrist. While it took the stress off my wrist directly, it added to the stress to my entire arm, causing additional pressure on the nerve at the shoulder or elbow, and I still get parts of my hand going numb.Overall, it was wasted money.

Scroll Wheel No Longer Works
I had the mouse for about 6 months, and it worked great. Now the scroll wheel doesn't work properly, and it either bounces around or scrolls completely the opposite way I want it to. I am very disappointed due to the price of this one compared to others on Amazon. I happened to pay $79 for this one. I ended up picking out a $16 mouse to replace it, and the cheaper one has worked better.Edit: I emailed customer service, and after 3 weeks they got back to me. They also took notice of my negative review at that time. They sent a new mouse free of charge, which is working so far. I hope it continues to work. I am only upgrading to 3 stars because I was not impressed with customer service response time. I get they don't have time to necessarily look at all reviews, but they should be more responsive to direct contact.
