Worth the buy
Pretty sure everyone in my house has used this everyday since I’ve purchased it. It’s pretty fun and does help with your balance. It’s easy to use and does what it is supposed to. It’s mostly slip resistant on hard wood floors but it’s not impossible to slip either. Pretty durable for what it is and it’s about the same size as a normal skateboard.

The Whirly Board is a great accompanying item for anyone with a stand up desk
I have had my Whirly Board now for a week. I thought to give it a week before writing a review. I now use it a number of times throughout the day.The Whirly Board is a great accompanying item for anyone with a stand up desk. My stand up desk is a converted mid century folding bar. The problem with standing desks in general is the fact that even though you are standing you may find yourself not moving around. Your knees become locked and then stiff. I chose the skater grip for the top surface and it feels good on my feet.I work barefoot when possible. I work at home so I can use the board when I am watching television. My board came with a handwritten note from the creator and inventor Eric Olsen. The construction is really top quality, made in America by a small company. The kind of quality one would find with a good skateboard. The size of the deck allows you to position your stance in a number of ways. The rounded fulcrum and end pivots are of a good quality plastic and makes your balance workout pleasant. I have not gotten to the point of doing full spins yet. It is a very handsome accessory to my office. Please note you should not use this on hard wood floors or smooth concrete. Use it safely. For those people with concerns about how to use the board, there are some handy YouTube videos available.

Love It
I've only had it for an hour and I already love it. I got back into Skating at 30 and rolled my ankle so I wanted something to help build ankle strength and balance so this seemed perfect. You can stand sideways in a normal balance board stance or you can get into a traditional skateboard stance which is much harder and a really good workout on your front quad. I'm garbage at skating switch so it's kinda cool that you can get into your switch stance and do tick-tacks to get a feel for how to shift your weight. No idea how much it's gonna help my switch skating but it can't hurt.Only negative is, it's a little hard to practice manuals on the smaller spheres because there's very little space between your tail and the ground and you might need a wider board to make it more comfortable for your feet. It's still really fun to see how long you can go for and I can definitely see it helping my balance and foot/ankle/leg strength.

Amazing, I use it daily
My first wobble board for my standing desk and very glad I chose this one. A joy to use every time I hop on.

Good for light exercise
It's a well-made piece of equipment. I went from being terrible at it to improving my balance dramatically after a few weeks. You'll get a decent work out for your core. Everyone will want to try it. You want to use it on a carpet or rug or else it's quite difficult. I think the $150 (now $160) price is way too high. This thing should be priced around $100. But I do enjoy using it and I am confident it will last a very long time so I'm glad I got it.

Skateboard concave is an issue with desk use - but it's almost perfect
So I bought this board for desk use. On a standing desk, I simply can't stand on a flat floor, and balance boards keep me standing (and moving) all day. From a balance standpoint, this board is less stable than those from say, Fluid stance and others. And I really enjoy the smaller ball, less-stable feel. The build quality and materials are awesome. I also love that I'm supporting a US, hand-built product. The biggest problem I have is the skateboard concave. It simply hurts my feet! I can stand and balance on this thing all day, but the edges of the board put too much pressure on the ball of my feet. If they made a flat foot version, this thing would be perfect for standing desks!I want to give this a 5 star, but from my perspective, the concave doesn't provide that much of a benefit, to me at least. I will probably keep it and figure out if I can use grip tape to help flatten the center section of the board. But a flat-deck option would be best!

Only problem is people taking it from me at work because it is so cool!
VERY high quality. I bought this to use with my standing desk, and have no complaints. I was able to work and balance in numerous positions. As someone who's 6'1, anyone who's a little taller or shorter shouldn't have an issue using with a standing desk.It does give your calves a work out. They will be screaming if you use for a long time the first time. It does improve your back strength slightly and you will feel "healthier".Health benefits wise, I doubt you are burning many more calories. However, you will be the coolest guy in the office and people will often snatch this from you because it's so unique.I have used this every day for the past couple of months, usually for 2-3 hours a day, and it is still in perfect condition.I would highly recommend

Husband loves it!
I bought this for my husband. He's been a surfer since he was a kid but hasn't been out in the water in awhile. He wanted something to keep his balance in check. He was quite impressed with it! I tried it as well...it's definitely hard to keep your balance on it but with practice, it's great for your core muscles. Would recommend!
