High quality and fair prices!
Finally, a quality safety bag for charging my Li-po and li-on batteries. I understand the volatile nature of the chemistry which is the makeup of these batteries. The volitality is basic knowledge, undervoltage from over-discharging, overvoltage from overcharging and extreme temps from mismatched motors and battery packs. I'm very critical of my equipment when charging these types of batteries and I use well known charging devices and kepmthe firmware updated, no matter how diligent I am the charger being an electronic device failure can happen at any given moment beyond my control so I am never 100% trusting of the charger. However I do enjoy having peace at mind while charging that my batteries are in a fireproof bag should failure arise. Having used several sizes and brands they either did not hold up very long or they were advertised as fireproof but actually more flammable than the batteries that were supposed to be charged within. The Hobbymate bag appeared to be nothing of that sort based on specs so I gave this one a try. The bag is well constructed with Velcro and zippered closures, heavy stitched seams and heavy piped outer edging. The construction is the best I have seen to date and by far the most impressive. I have been charging my 3DR Solo batteries and Gens Ace 4s batteries without failure thankfully but I am at ease knowing that should a reaction occur I would be able to remove the bag and get it outside to extinguish without damage to my home. This goes without saying I hope to never have to test the fire ratings on the bags, I am prepared should it happen though. After using the bag for a month, I have decided to purchase two more to store my batteries in while not in use.One more thing...I took my drone on 2 separate flights with my batteries in this bag and had them charged a t a storage rate. I placed the bag on the belt at the STA security check prior to my flight and explained the contents 3 out of the 4 agents commented on the quality of the bag and 2 stated this should be the safety standard. Please note that yes this was only 2 trips but both were round trip. The one that did not comment didn't need to as he looked it over carefully and smiled and gave me a nod of approval. This was worth the purchase price 10 fold. The pricing is competitive with other inferior products and could fetch a higher price and frankly I would pay it without question. If you use these types of safety products give Hobbymate a shot at your business, hopefully you will be as impressed as me. I don't write too many reviews but if it's worth noting to others to keep them from wading through all of the junk out there, I'm happy to do so.Happy flying!

EXCELLENT LiPo Bag!!
As any RC hobbyist knows, safe battery charging practices are a must. With today's Lithium based batteries, it is even more important than ever that we take care not to overcharge, over discharge, or mistreat our batteries. The threat of LiPo batteries bursting into flames is very real, and is not meant to be taken lightly.I'm pretty sure many of us know someone, or have a friend that knows someone that has experienced a household, or garage fire due to a LiPo battery bursting into flames. Many times this is not even due to misuse, or bad charging practices. It can happen at any given time. Therefore, it has become important to find ways to charge more safely, and with a little added protection in the event that the worst does happen. Most of us nowadays have begun using what we call LiPo safes, or LiPo charging bags. I use LiPo bags not just for charging my batteries in, but I also store my batteries in LiPo safe bags. It simply gives me a little peace of mind knowing that if something does happen to go wrong, the fire should be contained to the bag, and not spread to the rest of my garage/house etc.My biggest issue with the LiPo bags I was using was that they just didn't seem to close securely when charging in them. They would seal up just fine as long as there were no wires going into the bag, but during charging, I just wasn't happy with a simple velcro closure.Well... HOBBYMATE to the rescue! :) As soon as I saw their new bag with its double zipper closure, accompanied by the traditional velcro flap, I knew I had to have one. This is by far the best storage, and charging bag I have owned. The double zippers allow me to position the wires coming from my charger in ways that the bag is still very securely sealed no matter which way I have the wires coming in, and with the zippers, and the velcro flap I feel very confident that I have little to worry about in the event of a fire.Check this bag out for yourself if your looking for a good size bag, with plenty of storage capacity. As you can see in one of my pics, there is room for a large variety of battery types. In the one picture I have a 4800mah 2s, and 5000mah 2s car/truck batteries, three 3s quadcopter batteries, and a 4s quadcopter battery, and I have only covered the bottom of the bag. It will easily hold 4 times that many packs. I personally try to keep a few packs in a few different bags, so if one goes up in flames, I still have some batteries in another bag.

Great bag
Well made and definitely inspires some confidence when storing/transporting my batteries. Before having this I would keep them in a metal toolbox, but I was always worried that if one of my batteries went the box would blow apart and end up causing more damage. We never use our fireplace so that has become my "charging station" recently. After all, it was built to contain fire. I keep this bag and my chargers in the fireplace now and don't worry about anything. It has a zipper that zips from each corner so you can still poke the balance leads out and keep it zipped and it has velcro in the front just in case. The velcro is very good and takes some effort to open. The material of the bag is very thick. I have 3, 3000+ mah batteries and 2 1500 mah batteries in there and there's plenty of room for more.4 stars, only because I haven't had anything happen and don't know how well it will hold up. I'm confident that, with the way its constructed, it will be fine, but I hope I never have to find out.
