We ordered this rug in two different sizes for our home, which has concrete floors throughout. They ship in sealed plastic bags so the rugs are protected from the elements even if the delivery person leaves them outside.We used the runner under our bar chairs at our kitchen island. The natural fabric has a nice clean smell and looks great. The texture is coarse due to the thick weave, but still comfortable on your feet.I know these rugs tend to "dust" as the natural fibers wear, but right out of the packaging these rugs are very clean and don't leave a dust pile on the floor.Overall, very happy with the quality, look, and value of this rug.

Can’t express how much I love this rug. Great chunky jute. Gets compliments from our guests. Easy to vacuum and clean, feels good on our feet, wears well. I bought a second one.

Absolutely amazing! In love! This rug is so well made and just gorgeous. It comes kinda folded and rolled which made me nervous but the braiding and looping is so thick, once you unfold it, it lies perfectly flat. I got the 9x12 size. The rug also kinda gives your feet a massage. Just awesome! I truly love this rug and it’s just such a great price for an ultra luxury textured look.

I read so many reviews and looked at so many rugs both online and at stores, and was nervous to pull the trigger, as we needed the large size, 10 x 14. We've had jute rugs before, including in this family room which is an 18 x 32 foot space. When we opened this rug there was no smell. NOT AT ALL. It unrolled and we haven't vacuumed it after two days, there was no debris. It feels great to your feet in socks, though not so great in bare feet. We did order a pad for it, a 1/4 inch pad, and will put it under when it gets here soon. Did I mention the rug came four days early? I was thrilled (but it only had to come from two counties over). I suggest the farther you're shipping the more wear on the rug wrapping, obviously. It came on a rainy day with those dessicant things (anti-moisture packets) rolled up in it, wrapped entirely in plastic. We just could not be more pleased with this rug and the value. Our previous jute rug was from a furniture store and we probably paid four times more for it at least. Recommend this rug highly, IF you're looking for that designer look with the chunky texture it brings to a big room. I will report back if it wears very quickly or puts out more than normal "dirt" below. I expect a little of that from natural fiber rugs and this is a high traffic area. But for the $ I think it's a great value!

I/we absolutely LOVE this "rug." We bought it intending for it serve as a welcome mat inside the front door, but it was way too thick (despite the look online) for the door to breach. We shifted other area rugs around and placed this one in front of the sink, where I spend a lot of time! And even though it's thick, and maybe too rough for sensitive feet, it'sperfect for me, almost like a mini foot massage. PLUS! It's very attractive.

I ordered the 8 X 10. It is a very heavy thick weave and is not at all comfortable to walk on. I was remodeling the room it was intended for, so I didn't open it and put it on the floor for quite some time after receiving it. It has now been on the floor and with very light traffic for about a week. Tonight I looked underneath the rug and it is filthy dirty. The jute was evidently not clean and has transferred dirt to my floor which is upsetting. I'm not sure what I am going to do with it, but would not have purchased if I had known the texture of the weave and the problem with dirt and particles of stuff falling out of the rug.

This jute product is absolutely top-notch! The craftsmanship is excellent, with tight, clean weaving and attention to detail. Best of all, there was no strong or unpleasant smell, which is often an issue with natural fibers. It’s a perfect blend of style, durability, and quality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-made, natural decor piece!

Natural rug that looks good in a sunroom with plants around it. I only give it 3 stars because it has a couple of black purplish spots that look like stains from something. They don’t come out or fade. My husband noticed them and thought the rug needed cleaned, but the rug came that way!
