Its Spyderco What the heck else do I need to say. I am freaky lover of these Para 2's always have been but the linen handles literally made me cry. It's grippy even when sticky....fruit cutting aside this thing was the sharpest blade I've ever bought from Spyderco and the steel they are using is just nuts. Whoever is in the metallurgy department that engineered this alloy I want to hug your neck and slice through the nations in war forever with. The Spydco hole is without question my favorite deployment method in existence.......except the Wave Feature but that deserves an entire six month discussion of reverence on the Ed Wave features. It'll pop open when you need it to no matter if you are a Southpaw or a righty folks. The index finger locking mechanism is still to this day the absolute best I've found. Its easily indexed in total darkness or when your ragged and exhausted. It's form follows functions theres enough weight balanced in the blade and handle to keep it in your hand and not in some one else's. I've run this blade live edged for nearly a month and it's still unimaginably sharp. I shredded cardboard carved bone and it still slices through a fillet minion with butter ease. I took it swimming and neglected the snot out of it, salt water, chlorine, fresh and brine. Its not even a little offended. PREMIUM corrosion resistance is essential for me. Its a living tank of a blade and by far my favorite version of the Spyderco Para 2 line I've tried. I've had clones but the authentic is worth every penny if you can swing it. If not you'd be shocked what you can get from other versions out there. Most durable steel I've yet had. I've used the Para 2's-3's in nearly every form of crisis and normal comfort and they have become an intimate part of my ever day carry. Can't say it enough I love this blade and as I have for mannnny years advocated the Spyderco products.

Super quality knife, very satisfied. CPM-Cruwear is an amazing steel. Came very sharp. Micarta handles are very pleasant. Mine came little but off center, but fixed it easily.

I have wanted a Paramilitary 2 ever since I started looking at Syderco knives and I figured when the time was right I would buy one. Well the time was right and after all the research I could do on this model with the micarta scales and the Cru-Wear steel I placed the order. When it arrived I looked it over prior to opening it for the first time and it looked amazing, the micarta feels so good, the weight of the knife is perfect and the blade was centered right down the middle. When I flicked this knife open I was amazed at how smooth the blade moved and snapped into it's locked position and when I released the compression lock the blade dropped right down to the closed position. The blade has a satin finish and is wicked sharp. They say that "Over Time" is the only true way to value the craftsmanship of a product and without a doubt this one is off to a great start!

I love this knife. It's too expensive for an everyday, ...but I do. I love the size for the weight, not too heavy. I love the ergonomics, it seems to find 'home' in my hand (medium hand, long fingers). I love the micarta scales, like warm worn leather. I love the steel, cuts easy without dulling. I love the blade size and shape, feels sturdy, big enough, not too much belly; nice balance of blade thickness, sturdy but thin enough it still cuts well.

This is another banger from Spyderco. It is authentic. It is comfortable and fidget friendly. Pm 2s are a little finicky with the pivot tension compared to the Manix 2, but they are different animals, all together.
