A great button / project
It's a photon with 4 buttons, 12 multicolor lights (neopixels) and a piezo speaker. The packaging is great.Particle has a great IOT stack making it easy to deploy nontrivial applications quickly.

Easy to setup and overall it is awesome, so far
I've had this Iot device running for about a month now. It has been reliable and it was very easy to set up. I am really only using the Photon, which is included, and not so much the capabilities of the button. But I drilled a hole in the side of the metal packaging, and I am using it to house the device. Time will tell if it holds up under the heat and cold that it is exposed to now, but after a month, we are very pleased.

Great Learning tool for a newbie, like me
I bought one early in the process of learning about the Particle Photon and found it a great tool to write simple programs for. When you have passed that stage by, you can always take the board out and use it for additional projects.

Terrible Setup & Documentation
The product setup suggests using iOS/Andriod for setup but Wi-Fi setup process doesn't support Safari! So you have to use a mix of a tablet and computer with Wi-Fi. Documentation is either out of date (broken links) or refers to important items using multiple different terms. Nothing is documented or posted in a format that a normal person can understand (this coming from a MCSE/Linux support tech). Unless you would like an effort endless frustration avoid this product. Typical start-up equipment, sure the tech is neat but you have to be 'leet' to do anything.

It still works!
My InternetButton was a gift that I got several years ago. After going through the initial setup I thought "that's neat" then put it on the shelf and forgot about it until last week. I came up with a good use case for it and pulled it out of the pile a few days ago. It appeared to be functional with flashing status led but it had trouble attaching to my wifi and the cloud. The documentation wasn't much help as a lot of it is out of date and refers to software that has been renamed (eg ST-LINK is now STM32CubeProgrammer) or modified (the CLI no longer has a 'usb' feature apparently) - not surprising since it has been a few years since I last used it and the company has even changed names. After spending a few days surfing through the forums and looking for current documentation for an obsolete product I finally decided the attached Photon P0 board simply needed new firmware. After all, it has been a long time since its last upgrade! I dug out my little ST-LINKv2 JTAG programmer, downloaded the latest version of DeviceOS (aka firmware) (v3.1.0), figured out how to turn off write protect, made it through update, and voila! It sailed through initial setup and has been happy and content ever since. Next, my new little friend and I will conquer the world. Watch out.

I got two Spark Cores, only one works, got a Phothon as replacement.
One of the Spark Cores I got does not work. I'm still working with Particle.io support to resolve the issue. After a long trail of tests, they finally decided to send me a replacement.I'll update as soon as I have the new device.Update: Particle.io sent me a new Photon as replacement, it works fine.
