mild tasting herbal tea
My husband likes all kinds of herbal tea. Some are help him clearing the throat, so he can easily do 4 hours or more vocal singing or speech. This one taste mild, the flavor is not bad. It helps with clearing out all the mucus from the lungs. So far so good. I will update more info once he finish the whole box.

Effective if you're OK with the taste
I am not a fan of the taste of this tea. I mixed it 50-50% with Arizona sweet tea just to drink it.I am grateful for the reviewer who took the time to research the ingredients list and posted their findings. I generally try to do that with this type of product it was nice to see it all done.I was in the middle of a cold when this arrived and I was anxious to try it. My colds in the past have sometimes progressed to bronchitis, twice to pneumonia and I certainly don't want to go there again. I did three bags the first day and didn't notice anything different. I did three the next day and really didn't see a difference again. I was about to call it quits when I woke up the 3rd morning and realized I'd slept the night through and hadn't woken up coughing. While it's possible I was just getting over my cold by itself, based on my usual pattern, I think this helped. I will definitely drink this again the next time I feel something coming on.Taste aside, I believe this to effective in resolving coughs and chest congestion.

Intresting... A savory tea?
I got this when I had a bad case of bronchitis and it was hard for me to drink honestly. I felt like my throat was closing but pretty much everything did so... The flavor is very intresting, it's not bad, but I am used to sweet teas and this most certainly is not that. It's a savory spice. It does have a nice soothing feeling on the throat and tongue. I feel like it did help loosen up some of the gunk in my lungs as well. A good sickness tea just be aware it's savory.

Faintly bitter - earthy flavor
The taste of the WINS TOWN Lianhua Clearing Tea, without any additives, was extremely mild, what might be considered earthy, faintly bitter, and I wasn’t able to taste many of the ingredients listed; not the almond, honeysuckle, menthol, or licorice. However, a teaspoon of honey and a squeeze of fresh lemon in my 16 oz thermos, reduced some of that bite and produced a more flavorful substance. As for lung cleansing, no noticeable benefits have derived from usage of this tea, but I’ve only had two servings as of this review.

It works!
Well, I could not have received a package of this tea at a more perfect time. I'm in the second half of a common head cold and have been drinking more tea, anyway, because it feels so good in my current condition. Then, I began to drink this tea and I can definitely detect the menthol. It actually worked for me.So, why am I giving this tea 4 stars and not 5? Because my wife definitely does not like it and that makes me realize that other folks may not have a taste for this. In particular, she doesn't care for licorice and that's definitely also a taste we detect here. If it were up to her, we would give this less stars.I'm reporting the diversity of reactions in our household because I know it's important to emphasize: Everyone's taste in tea differs. One person's gem is another person's dud.For me right now, I warmly welcome this tea.My wife is not joining me, however. So, we're compromising on 4 stars.

Helps Clear Congestion/Cough
I ordered this for my husband who wakes up every morning terribly congested. He also has a chronic cough he takes prescription medication for as needed. He's not a big fan of the taste of the tea but it does help loosen his congestion and calm his cough. 20 tea bags come in a box. The price is on the high side, however since it does work, the price is reasonable.

Seems to help me breathe better
I got this tea while I have had a cold. Comes in small tea bags. The taste is not very good but mild. Seems to help me breathe easier. I’ll continue to take it until I’m all better.
