Very nice fixture; The big feature is, that this fixture uses self ballasted bulbs.. that is, there is no electronic driver to go out. This also means that bulb replacement is easy. Any place that sells self ballasted two pin bulbs will have bulbs to fit. Which also means you can choose from a Variety of kelvin color tones and wattages. ( although bulbs do come with this fixture and you may never need to change them) The brightness ~ lumen output claims across the total industry is a total mess. This was bright enough for my use to light a floor space in a shop.. 15x20 ft. Keep in mind the the bulb ends are designated .. the end.. the one with print describing the bulb is the end that goes to the same end where the power is connected

I bought 5 of these in 2018 for a 25' x 50' shop and they light it up like daylight. I just ordered a 6th to add intense task lighting over my welding table (until I get my cataracts fixed!). The lights are great, but the customer service is even better. Today I noticed that about 12" of one of the tubes is not lighting up, so I called customer service (the number is on their PrimeLights website). Phillip answered and I told him the situation. In about one minute he found my order (from 5 years and 2 days ago, BTW), confirmed my address, and said he'd send a new tube out right away. No questions, no charge. Delightful.

I got a pair of these for my home workshop. They are well made and give plenty of light to work by. The only downside is they don't come with any chains to hang them or lead to plug them in. I used some tig welding rod to make a loop for the chains which I purchased at Home Depot along with some lead cable. Both lights are on a wall switch. There is no switch on these fixtures. No deal breaker but something I thought should be passed along.I put an order in for two more. Other fixtures are dim compared to these. Great light to work by with machine tools.

The light is great and works as expected. It's the only light I have in my two-car garage, it's centrally hung and the light is sufficient to light up the entire space. Two would be incredible with no shadowy corners and three would be overkill. The install instructions aren't that great in that they don't tell you how to open the door to access the panel to install the light -- but once you figure that out you can have the thing installed in minutes.I've had it up for a couple of months now and it works fantastic. I'd purchase again without reservation.

Ok, so I bought this light knowing I needed a bright light for a shop and was really testing before I bought another 8. The package was good and nothing broken, always a concern when buying there types of lights that include the bulb. I read a review regarding quick connect that through me off as what is difficult about it. Yes its quick connect, the back of the light has a punch hole for a wire clamp. I cut a length off of an old extension cord and put a plug on it. I have my boxes for all of the lights in the ceiling on a switch. This gave it a cleaner look. The hole process took 30 minutes...easy!

I was almost dissuaded by the few poor reviews on here, but for the money decided to purchase one of these (even though I needed 3) and see how it went. Well, I ordered my other two lights right after installing this one. There are a couple very minor things I don’t like, such as where the wires come through the sharp metal knock-out, but for the money these cost I can remedy that easily and it’s to be expected, especially for a USA product. These are exponentially better than anything you’ll find in a box store or chain hardware store by far. They mount flush with the ceiling and look sharp when lit up and installed. Props to the company for including the wiring quick connectors also, as install took me less than 20 minutes (and I took my time). Can’t wait to get my other two delivered and get some light in my new garage !

I built a shop a little over two years ago and the LED shop light fixtures were starting to fail. They would flash like a strobe light. I wanted a bright LED light that I wouldn't have to mess with once they were up. These are about the most expensive lights I found but they rated well and I gave it a shot. I replaced two original fixtures with these and they work great. Its been about 6 months and my 3rd original light is going out. These lights are great and there's no reason for me to shop for something else . Installation is about the same as any other fixture so no problem with that.

I've had these lights for about 5 months now. I have two of them connected in series on 12 gauge wire on a 20 amp breaker. I deducted a few stars because of the wiring entrance panel design. It is nearly impossible to properly ground the chassis (green screw), wire nut in the next lights wire and put the access plate in place. I used MC cable with the expensive snap in connectors. This is all while 12 ft up in the air. I ended up leaving the access plate hanging there.I think you can bring the wires in the side, but I didnt want to take off the silver reflector.I could've made it easier by using 14 stranded wire instead but I like 0 voltage drop.For actual light output I think they are great. I have a 36x50 with 14ft walls. I have two of these and they provide enough light to walk around and find things but NOT to do detail auto or ground work. I have some plug in spotlights for that. To do a barn of my size, I would recommend two rows of two or two rows of three down the 50 ft length. I will be purchasing another or maybe a 6 bulb version instead. 5 stars for USA and they arrived quickly, don't let the no prime fool you.
