The car is super cool! Everything works and I was shocked by the speed of it. However after an hour maybe it stopped driving. I think some of the plastic gears that control the rear tires broke. My 4 year old slammed it 100 mph into the wall several times and the thing never slowed down. But once I took over and starting doing donuts at top speed is when it stopped working. I was just getting excited about it too. I took it apart and don't know what the heck I'm looking at but clearly one of the white gears was just loose in there. The motor goes but the wheels don't rotate. So it's trying but clearly broken. That's too bad. I might spend $30 next pay day to buy it again bc it had the potential to be super fun.

I bought this car for my 4 year old grandson. The quality of the car is made very durable and is very easy to operate. My grandson has crashed this car into several items and there was no damage at all. not even a scratch. The lights and sounds are really good. When the car makes a left or right the turn signal comes on. I recommend this car because it is a great toy and keeps my grandson occupied. He loves that it lights up and has sounds. It only took a minute or two to show him how to use the remote control. He now plays with it anytime he comes over its the firs thing he looks for. It is well worth the money.

The first car we received just sat and chirped at us. No lights or movement. I received a replacement with lightning speed and this car works great. The instructions on the back of the box don't exactly match the car, but it is very easy to figure out. So far, my son is having a blast with it. It's a cool remote control car with lights and siren, and even blinks a turn signal when turning. The siren is not too loud, even indoors, and the lights are not blinding. I would say they are just right. As far as durability, I told my son not to crash it into things, but you probably know how that goes. So far, so good. Nothing has broken or fallen off.Overall, I think this is a great toy. I would have given it a full five stars if the first one worked. It really wans't a huge problem since the replacement came so fast. Sometimes things just happen. They took care of it right away.

I just received the car for the second time after I returned the first because the flashing lights were not working. Unfortunately I found the lights also don't work and I Don't know what I suppose to do. I gave it to my boy in his birthday and I don't want to make him upset for the second time ☹️☹️. I will not return it but I have to warn everyone who wants to buy this car flashing light is not an option as they have mentioned ☹️☹️Updates: I would be sorry for the company it was my problem I didn’t know that I have to keep pressing on the horn button to turn on the lights. It’s an amazing car

We purchased one of these cars for our grandson. He loves it and it is very well-built and works as advertised. We purchased a second one and it was COMPLETELY DEAD upon arrival. We returned it and purchased a third one as a replacement. On this one, everything worked EXCEPT THE DRIVE MOTOR. It made sounds, the lights flashed, and the steering moved the front wheels, but it did not go.I am a retired electrical engineer, so in frustration I opened up the car and discovered that one of the wires from the circuit card to the drive motor had been stuck under a mounting stud when the car was assembled and pulled out of the circuit card. A quick solder job made the car work, but TWO DEFECTIVE CARS IN A ROW??? The design of the car is very very good, but the quality control seems non-existent. To start out with when we received this car everything worked like it was supposed to but after a few hours it started struggling to move. I changed the batteries but that to no avail. My boys(ages 3 and 4) both love it and fight over it but after about 12 hours of use(abuse) it is hardly moving. My guess is that maybe there are some plastic gears inside that are stripping. On a positive note, not one piece has broken off which is a win in this house! I think they will still love it even when it's no longer self propelled, the lights and sirens still work fine.**Update 7/2/18**Much to my surprise, I received an unexpected package today. I wasn't expecting anything so was very intrigued. It was a replacement car! I never contacted the company nor did I ask for a new one. According to the enclosed note, they read my review and wanted to make it right. That kind of customer service and pride is hard to find these days! A+ company!

This car was purchased as part of a birthday gift for my child. Right out of the box, the quality seemed poor. Once batteries were installed, problems became immediately apparent. The car does have a nice loud siren and lights, and (when moving) has a nice speed. But, the car does not work well at all. The remote control loses contact with the car 9 times out of 10. The range is extremely short. Turning the car to the right immediately shuts it off. My child was disappointed and frustrated. You expect that sort of performance out of a $5 remote control car from Walmart. But this car was priced at above $30. We will be seeking a refund. I imagine a replacement would only have the same issues. I would not recommend this product.

This car is awesome. I’m not sure how long it will last because my daughter drives it like she stole it. With a little practice you can do J turns and power slides on indoor floors. Turn signals are accurate to movements. Sometimes when you make aggressive acceleration it makes a squealing tires sound. RC electronics have come a long way to coordinate turn signals at this price point. This car has a tiny little dent in the hood...I don’t know if that was intentional or a flaw but it came on my daughters car and on one we bought for my nephew - I love that little dent because it looks like the dents real police cars get during real arrests. It’s not a super powerful outdoors type RC car and it doesn’t do steep driveways well but it’s plenty fast on the living room floor. Definitely a Best Buy in my opinion.
