Great faucet water filter!
I just received this yesterday and installed it on the faucet to my kitchen sink. I am very happy with the structure of the filter housing and parts and that it is ALL stainless steel! A friend and I were just discussing the other day about how many "plumbing materials/items" are made of plastic these days and how they do not hold up as well as stainless steel and other high quality metals that were once used frequently for plumbing materials/items in the past. You can still get plumbing materials made of high quality metals, but not as often or as cheap as you can plastic. But I still think it is better to pay for quality over quantity in the long run. The price for this faucet filter is not extremely expensive but it is on the little bit more expensive side for a faucet filter, but not by very much! I still say it is worth the money because of the quality of faucet filter you get! I will say I had a bit of difficulty installing the filter, only because the washer that is between the filter housing and the part that attaches to the faucet fell out and went down my drain. Unfortunately, there was not a replacement washer that came with the filter so I had to go to a Harbor Freight near my house and find a washer that fit. The washer did not cost much but it would have been nice to have had a spare like there were spare washers for the part that attaches to the faucet. Once I found a washer that worked the installation was easy! I did have to use a pair of channel locks to ensure that the filter was tight enough on my faucet. But it did not take much to tighten it. Once fully installed, I let the water run through the filter for about 5 minutes as instructed on the instruction manual that came with the filter. I got the model that has the filter that reduces heavy metals and makes the water pH more alkaline. I have always tried to buy bottled/packaged water that was considered to have a pH that was more alkaline not only for the taste but also for the benefits that alkaline water is claimed to have. I could tell a tremendous difference in the quality of the water with just the first use! There was no longer a chlorine smell and the water tasted so much better! Personally, I believe it even tastes better than bottled water! So far I am very happy with my purchase and plan to purchase more from this company in the future! I will most definitely purchase replacement filters for this unit that are for reducing heavy metals and increasing the pH of the water to make it more alkaline.

Only removes heavy sediment (i.e. sand).
I bought this to remove light sediment. It did nothing, zero, zadda, zip. It hooks up super duper easy. Too bad it is useless. I have this sediment in my well water and it leaves rings and sediment on everything with standing water or if you boil it down. My toilet has a while ring at water line, and when I boil water the pan has this white power like a very light grainy grit left at the bottom. I only have to boil one pint and the sediment is obvious. Not knowing what this stuff is, I decided to just get a high particle super fine, best I could find, water filter for my cooking and drinking faucet. Wasted my money, dang. It did not remove any of that grit. After a few months of using it I could only find a few particles of sand. Heck, sand won't hurt me! I wanted to get those unknown big minerals out! How the h311 is it going to remove invisible harmful chemicals if it can't even get rid of a heavy white powder?! This is one of those "only makes me mentally feel better" additions.

Solid, all metal construction
After trying the big brand, plastic housing filters that kept breaking, I broke down and bought this metal one. It has worked well. After one and a half years, the water flow dropped to a trickle. Turned out to be a broken o-ring plugging the hole into the filter. I can easily replace that, without replacing the whole filter.I like that it was designed for such maintenance. It was easy to disassemble and is easily repaired at home. I expect to have many more years of use from this. Even if I have to replace an o-ring now and then, that is a lot less expensive than replacing the whole unit as I had to do with previous plastic ones, where the plastic housings cracked.

Built sturdier than my faucet
I like the faucet filter. I like how the whole thing can rotate and you can move it out of the way. It makes the water taste much better, however I haven't noticed a difference in dissolved solids with a TDS meter. It's built sturdier than the cheap sink faucet at my apartment.

Easy Set up, works great!
Just installed today, hardest part was getting my old facet aerator off and finding the right sized adapter to fit. Works great!

NOT cheap plastic. Highly recommended by me
A handsome piece of equipment and a reasonable price, made of heavy duty materials with a long lasting filter in place. Over the past 20 years I have tried different filtration systems attached to my kitchen faucet and none compares to this one. Clean tasting water with longer length of time between filter changes.
