Good & Good

I used this to replace the grill on a Shure PE85L, which has very similar dimensions as an SM58. Fit perfectly. Sounds great. The foam on the original grill had disintegrated. This mic is probably about 40 years old or close to. The capsule works fine, but with no foam, it got alot of air. This grill is as good as a pop-screen

Perfect fit replacement for SM58z

I've been buying a lot of used and damaged dynamic microphones as I find them. I sometimes swap out the capsules, repair some wiring, clean them up and give them away. Whenever one has a damaged windscreen/ball/basket, I order one of these as a replacement. They look great, match up well, have a decent amount of foam wind screen in them and they're priced right. What more do you want?
