Giro Xen Gloves

I had one of the these pair of gloves before. I recommend theme just and just if they send theme to you. I'm still waiting for theme, the tracking information says they are delivered. But i have nothing. Spiking of the gloves they are very good and comfortables.

The Xen is basically the Bravo with full fingers. The fit and features are identical to the Bravo. Fit is true to size.The material is thin. Padding is present, but thin. The padding along the bottom of the hand is placed well. This would not be a good AM/DH glove if you crash a lot, but it is good for XC.Living in the south, we have a lot of humidity in the summer. This glove quickly soaks through. This can cause some friction and irritation at the base of my fingers. All of my gloves do this to some extent in the summer.The supposedly smartphone friendly index finger doesn't work any worse or better with a smartphone than the Specialized gloves I have (without a special fingertip). Ungloved, dry fingertips work best.For the price, this is a decent glove, and I recommend it.UPDATE: Shortly after I wrote the review above, the velcro closure failed. The velcro is on the wrist side of the glove, so it is constantly soaked with sweat. My other Giro and Specialized gloves do not have this problem.

I've taken about 4 or 5 rides with these now and really like the fit, features and style. They keep my hands cool on the climbs and covered on the downs, have great grips on the first two fingers, pads on the palms and of course, full coverage. Highly recommended, although I can't speak to their lasting quality.

These gloves tear down easily and ive only had them for a month and worn them less than ten times. They are not meant for parkour or mountain climbing. The only good thing is that they are etremely breathable. so you can bike with them on a bicycle or motorcycle but nothing to harsh on them.

These run a hair smaller than my other Giro size M gloves, but not so much that they don't fit. The touch screen ability works as advertised. I'd buy another pair.

Nice gloves but run a tad small on the sizing. I normally wear X-Large without an issue and these just barely fit (they have stretched a bit so they are okay).

I want to love these gloves, but they are tearing apart after on 20 miles of riding.I'd also comment that they are super hot. I sweat through them generally after 3 miles of riding.** Update **These gloves bit the dust today, less than 200 miles on them and they are totally useless. The stitching has all busted and the palms are simply warn through. Also, a few days ago I wrecked hard with these gloves and they provided zero protection whatsoever to the point where I now have a 2 inch gash in my palm that required derma bond and actual medical attention.I don't blame the injury on the glove, but I knew they were warn through when I went on my last ride and would provide no protection - I was right.I was strongly recommend another pair of gloves, which is sad, because they look like they should have been great!Hope this helps!Brian

These gloves are awesome, the fit it between as expected and slightly snug which makes sense as they should fit like a glove. Sweet design that allows cool air through the palm and forehand, good protection for falls as I've already learned.

Good gloves, present for my partner who is a fan.

Ich habe mir Fahrradhandschuhe gekauft, da ich beim Fahrradfahren nach einer Zeit immer wieder Ermüdungserscheinungen (Taubheitsgefühle) in der Hand hatte. Die Giro Fahrradhandschuhe machen auf mich einen guten Eindruck: sie sind gut verarbeitet und die verwendeten Materialien sind hochwertig. Die Handschuhe sind enganliegend geschnitten. Durch das verwendete (dehnbare) Netzmaterial oben, sowie die Ledersegmente an der Handinnenfläche sind sie angenehm zu tragen. Man sollte sich an den angegebenen Größenangaben orientieren: die cm-Angabe bezieht sich auf den Handumfang (also ohne Daumen). Bei mir waren es knapp 24cm und ich habe den Handschuh in Größe L genommen. Er passt mir sehr gut.In der blumigen Produktbeschreibung wird auf die Protektoren verwiesen: für mich sind diese Gummiaufsätze eher ein optisches Merkmal. Ob sie bei einem Sturz wirklich dazu beitragen, eine Verletzung zu verhindern, wage ich mal zu bezweifeln.Fazit: ein guter Handschuh, den ich empfehlen kann.

Nach einigen Recherchen im Internet und dem Ansehen vieler Modelle habe ich mich für das Paar entschieden, was meiner Einschätzung nach in dem Preissegment voerst am besten Aussah, muss ich als erstes glasklar so sagen.Inzwischen haben sie Ihren Dienst schon einige Monate aufgenommen und ich kann ruhigen Gewissens sagen, dass sie nicht nur gut aussehen und angenehm zu Tragen sind und eine echt gute Passform haben, sondern sie auf Schotter und Stein ihren Job bisher mehr als nur ausgezeichnet erledigt haben. Die Hänge sind immer ohne eine Schramme geblieben und außer kaum sichtbaren Kratzern im Kunststoffschutz sind sie noch ohne Makel. Selbst im Winter mit noch leichten Flieshandschuhen drunter gut zu benutzen wenn die Temperatur dem Gefrierpunkt nicht allzu sehr nähert. Auch der Gripp am Griff ist top.Kann die Handschuhe mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

Top!Passform perfekt, gefühlsecht :) und ausreichend Grip ohne verschwitzte Hände. Die Dämpfung am Handballen ist zwar dünn aber durchaus effektiv. Insgesamt eher dünn und zumindest als Schutz für den Gravitybereich weniger geeignet-die "Schutz"besätze sind in der Praxis eher als Dekoration zu bewerten. Durchs Leder ist mir noch nichts durchgekommen, ist auch gut vernäht.Der Komfort mit hervorragender Ventilation geht leider zu Lasten der Haltbarkeit, da der Netzstoff (seitlich und oben an den Fingern, aussen am Daumen und Handrücken) nicht besonders belastbar ist.Das ist jetzt mein zweites Paar, nach etwa 2 Jahren reisst der Stoff in der Zeigefingerbeuge ein, nachdem er durch Reibung, Bremsen etc abgewetzt wurde, hatte dann auch kleinere Löcher am Handrücken und am Daumen, man bleibt ja doch mal wo Hängen..Der Handschuh muss bei mir allerdings auch viel mitmachen, so dass die Lebensdauer bei dem Komfort und Preis durchaus OK für mich ist.

Ich nutze den Handschuh jetzt seit einigen Tagen und bin begeistert. Die Innenfläche besteht aus einem Kunstleder namens Clarino. Fühlt sich sehr angenehm an und ist angeblich auch atmungsaktiv. Bei Temperaturen bis 25 Grad empfand ich die Handschuhe jedenfalls als nicht zu warm. Gepolstert sind die Handkante sowie kleiner Finger, Ringfinger und Mittelfinger. Ich trage XL, ebenso wie bei anderen Markenhandschuhen wie Fox oder Sugoi. Da zudem der Preis mit 29 EUR sehr fair ist, von mir klar 5 Sterne und eine Empfehlung.
