I typically have dry patches all over my face during the transition from the humid mid-Atlantic summers to frigid winters. I have had a hard time finding a good moisturizer that actually works and doesn't require a lot of reapplication. (I've even used straight jojoba, coconut, or castor oil and the moisturizing effects from them disappear. After a few hours, my dry patches reappear.) This definitely works. My dry patches completely disappear when I put this on and my skin feels much softer after having used this for several weeks.At night, I apply a quarter-sized amount on my face and neck. I then massage this into my clean skin and apply a little bit more around my eyes. Since it works so well, I don't even have to reapply it in the morning and the beneficial effects remain. My skin feels soft and supple for the entire day.There is a slight perfume scent to this moisturizer, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to scents or have sensitive skin. This is also a thicker formula, so it might be too moisturizing in warmer, more humid climates.I will most likely purchase more when I get close to finishing the current jar.

I did not give this a 5 because I've only used it about 10 time, and I need more long term results. However, it goes on smoothly, I enjoy the light scent and my face feels fresh, moist and upbeat when I use it. I can feel it moving into my face and relaxing my dry skin. In contrast to the Valo Skin Brightener - orange fluid, and the Hydro Gel in the Blue Bottle, this one DOES NOT burn, tighten or dry out my skim. I think the chemicals in those were too much for my skin. So, hope it continues to work for me.

Skin type: senstive, aging, prone to breakouts, beginning to be more dryThis is my first time to try Lumene products, and I've started with the facial oil and this hydration moisturizer. Comes in a white hard plastic jar but looks quite nice and simple if you want to leave it on your bathroom counter.It's a thick white cream with a fresh scent that isn't too flowery or perfumy - which I love, since I am tired of the flowery/perfumy beauty products. The fragrance doesn't linger, which is also great.I applied it after applying the Lumene facial oil last night and my skin felt wonderful - not greasy. This hydration creme goes on smooth and creamy. UPDATE: I've just learned that you should apply your facial oil AFTER applying moisturizer - not the other way around. For the oil will penetrate moisturizer but not the other way around! Now I know, and you do too (if you didn't already know).This morning, I applied it just to one side of my face to see if there was any immediate difference - what I noticed was a bit of a "shine" - like a glow to my skin and my skin is much softer on the side to which I applied the creme. The shine does fade so no worries you look too greasy or shiny, but my skin does look a little more "plumped" on that side.The price is very reasonable - at time of this review, just a bit over $17.00. It's difficult to purchase any good moisturizer for less than that, and many drugstore products are much more. I'd definitely purchase this moisturizer again once this jar is gone - and it should last me quite some time.

I have insane skin sensitivities (too many to list), which got so bad a few years ago that I was washing my hair with Dove bar soap and only using natural oils on my skin. When I moved to the desert, however, it quickly became clear that my skin care regimen provided inadequate protection against the single-digit humidity of the desert air. I started testing just about every natural cosmetic product I could get a hold of, but it wasn't until a friend recommended Lumene that my skin finally experienced itch-free moisturizing. I was so excited I bought a dozen of bottles of Sensitive Touch 5-min SOS Cream and ExCELLent Future Repairing Serum.My stash ran out a couple of days ago, and when I tried to replenish it, I discovered those two products were discontinued. Therefore, I went for the Intense Hydration line. Upon opening the new products, however, my sense of smell was assaulted by a really strong fragrance. I was afraid that my skin might have an allergic reaction to it, but that didn't happen, thankfully. By the third day of using the products I seem to have gotten used to the intense scent. The quality is great, but I wish Lumene would cut down the amount of fragrance they use by half.

This is a great moisturizer. I have the night cream from this line and absolutely love that. This is very similar expect it's lighter for day wear. Both are cooling creams that melt into the skin and feel so moisturizing. They're light on the skin and comfortable. Not greasy at all and works very well under makeup. There's also no piling if you rub your skin so that's a huge bonus. I use it everyday and a single jar lasted 3-4 months!I find it similar to Vichy Aqualia Thermal but less expensive and even better. Highly recommend.

I love this moisturizer. This is my second jar of this stuff. Or if you count the Day and Night creams by the same brand the 4 th jar. It has a very light clean scent. I’m very picky about scents in my cosmetics but I like this one. I’m prone to whiteheads if I use a moisturizer that’s too heavy. This gives me moisture without clogging my skin.

Ok, I'm 45 yrs old & have tried every face moisturizer from $5 to $100 and this is by far the best one I️ have used.Also love love their vitamin C night cream.

I purchased this product first at a Walgreens, but they stopped carrying it, so Amazon it is. I love this moisturizer. It is light but moisturizers great. Very light scent, but a good scent. I have tried many products but I always go back to this. Also, works great on crows feet and my age spots. Not that it gets rid of them, but more like helps to not make them worse. Order 2 at a time cause you won’t want to be without. Perfect, perfect moisturizer!!!!!❤️❤️❤️

I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but this product has made such a mess of my face I don’t even want to leave the house! I’ve always looked after my skin, and have been proud of its condition. I tried this on the recommendation of a friend, but in less than one week it seems to have destroyed my skin surface - it’s so red & sore it feels almost like a burn. Very annoyed with myself for wasting my money on this product.

Packaging is good, a pump would be better but decent heavy plastic jar. This moisturiser is thick and rich but absorbs quickly into the skin leaving no sticky feeling. Layers well over various serums and works excellently as a night cream. A little too rich for day I would say unless youre very dry. This was my first product from Lumene and I will definitely try more. I am sensitive and this really helped my skin get back in shape after a reaction to a serum.

I like this cream a lot but each time I buy it the price seems to increase. I have now found a cream that is in plastic free packaging, smells lovely and is better value.
