Great for indoor cats with strong hunting instincts. Chirps when batted & leaves my cat satisfied.
This is second time I've purchased this toy for one of my cats. I had recently given him squeaking mice toys which he's worn out & I thought he might appreciate a little variety & he does! This toy is sturdy & well-made, although I found one of its red feathers laying on the floor. But you have to understand, this cat is a professional HUNTER. No real experience LOL (he's strictly indoor) but he'll attack a roll of paper towels, toilet paper, old tea bags which he carries off like a half-dead mouse bouncing in his mouth. Want to hear the kicker? He's particularly fond of one of my kids. Couldn't figure out why most of his toys like this were left outside my kid's bedroom door at night. Trying to think like a cat, it was obvious that he was leaving "gifts" from the day's hunt at his favorite person's "doorstep".

Another banger from this company!!!
My cat loves this toy!!! He sits and licks at the feathers he throws it around, he bats at it, he’s just obsessed!!!! In the picture attached I caught him going at it just biting into it.The color is so vibrant, the feathers haven’t come out from him pulling at them yet, it’s a good size for my boy, the noise isn’t annoying or anything like that, and it’s a good sound quality. It’s super easy to use once you get it out of the packaging. I really enjoy these toys and this company I hope they make more available I’d like to buy them all😂

3rd month review
Figured I would wait a few months to do a review on this bird. Yes, the cat loved it since day 1, but would it last? The answer is yes. Three months later the bird is still in great shape, still chirping, and fur hasn’t begun to degrade or fall off. This bird is perfect choice to buy for your cat. Yes, the price does seem a little steep for a toy that was probably assembled for 20 cents, but if it’s a long lasting toy “that gets played with on the daily”, then the price seems to fade to the background. The sound effects isn’t as annoying as most electronic toys either. The only issue I have found with this bird is the feathers that are attached to the head and tail will shed off. The one I bought still has a couple feathers left, but I have found a few plucked red feathers around that have fallen off. I am not sure why this red bird has a cheaper price point than the other colors available. However, the red seems to be good enough for my cat. I highly doubt it’s upset that I didn’t purchase the more expensive bird with green colors. Haha. Plus, when my cat watches real birds out the window, it tends to get even more excited when it spots cardinals in the yard. So the question is “would I buy another one?” ....Definitely!…….((UPDATE))——-> almost 2 years later now. And yes this bird is still chirping away. Can’t believe the battery is still working on it, but it is still going strong. Cats still dig it and still play with it all the time. Just figured I would come back and leave an update on this thing. I guess that explains the price. Now I know it was worth it.…..Another ((UPDATE))—->another year later! Aug.2024= I hadn’t thought about, remembered, or even seen this toy in many months. While sitting and watching tv lastnight I kept hearing some weird “chirp” noise. Not puzzled enough to care about what it was I just ignored it. Almost an hour gos by and I begin to hear the chirping again. Ok, what the h3II is it? As I’m about to get up to look around, I see my cat dart by with this bird toy in its mouth. Now listen, this thing looks beat up now. No feathers left, gnarly looking red fur more reminiscent of “Mange”, and the chirp sounds more like a …*zzhurp’, way less energetic than it use to be. But…. It’s still alive, and my cats are still hunting it down. So I just figured another edit to this review wouldn’t hurt to let everyone know it’s still cardinal season in my house.

Her favorite toy
My cat loves this so much I’m probably going to have to buy more. It’s pretty cheaply made (she’s already pulled out a feather or so) but it’s a cheap toy so what can you expect. It’s touch activated so any time she bites or swats at it, it chirps. So happy I got this for her.

Cute but…
This is a very cute small toy and my cat liked it for 2 days. The down made us that the feathers come off and gets stuck in the cats mouth…. Not good. For that reason, I would not recommend.
