I live in an apartment and had a laminated map poster I wanted to put up on the wall. Tried scotch tape as well as masking tape but my poster kept falling down anyway. Saw a post on reddit about poster putty. It works great! I like that I can shape the putty and use as much as I want. I have enough leftover for future use too.

It is a bit tough to pinch off a section but it keeps things from slipping and is easy to remove.

I bought this putty because I have over a dozen posters that I wanted to put up on my walls, and I can't use tacks or I'll have holes everywhere. The putty was simple enough to make little balls for each corner of every poster. The only problem I had was trying to get it off the walls when I needed to move posters to different spots. It stuck to the walls pretty bad, and it was worse when trying to get it off the posters. I actually ripped three posters because I was trying to get the putty off them. So, as long as you are 100% sure of where you want your posters and you don't move them around a lot, this putty is great, but since I had trouble moving posters and getting rid of the putty afterwards, I give it a 4 star rating.
